AEW Content Begins Appearing On MAX Internationally

Oh for the record, I believe Blaze did mean free PPV like peacock if you already have a subscription.

But yeah, that’s what I meant in my reply to him that AEW makes too much for PPV for max to pay enough to make it worth. Peacock also paid for it when they’d already been on WWE Network for a decade. AEW would require significantly more I’d imagine from WBD to offset the 100K+ buys per month. Which like you said wouldn’t offset the subscribers max brings. It wouldn’t be a win for them to do it.

WBD also already gets a cut of PPV through BR.

Yeah I def meant like it being part of the deal. I know it won't happen, like I said it's just my hopes of something so I can watch them way easier than I do now. I not had any problems with the last few I had to watch off a stream, so it's not like I'm having any issues or anything. It just be nice to be able to watch, without having to turn on my PC

I think this is a huge piece of insight that the WBD/AEW negotiations must be coming to close soon if they've approved the international deal.

The vibes I was getting when it got brought up was he was never happy with the deal he got offered for the library, it was something they both wanted but couldn't agree on a dollar figure. Honestly feels like it was one of the bigger hold ups with the entire deal too

It won't affect Max in Canada because we don't have it

We have a service named Crave that has a licensing deal with WBD so it's possible it could land there. TSN here, which is owned by the same company as Crave, has the weekly programming.
