I mean not even just as a fan that wants some certainty at this point, as the owner of the company Tony must hate all this negative publicity that is surrounding such a great and positive announcement. I would just announced Punk’s going to be there at this point. If there has been an agreement put in place like Dave is suggesting, there should be no issue just saying punk is going to be there and that way if something comes up later, Tony can wash his hands of it all. Let the chips fall down on punk if he doesn’t show up for it.

Supposedly there was a film crew at his house and then because of whatever was holding it up last week they didn’t wind up using it so that’s very much a possibility. They might do that tonight and I would welcome it because that would get a huge pop.

Ngl…. I kinda hope since the logo is an updated Nitro logo, kinda hope the stage is an updated version of the Nitro Set that goes with the logo. I doubt that happens, and I’ll be staying clear of Facebook and Twitter that whole night til the show starts just to avoid seeing it before it comes on the air. But man I would mark out for the stage lmao

Probably wouldn’t look too much like that OG set, but I think with the presentation we’re seeing with the video graphics, we could get an updated hybrid of Nitro, the Saturday Night tech set, and 2001 Raw that had the large steel structures and something like a modern version of the current impact set.

Probably wouldn’t look too much like that OG set, but I think with the presentation we’re seeing with the video graphics, we could get an updated hybrid of Nitro, the Saturday Night tech set, and 2001 Raw that had the large steel structures and something like a modern version of the current impact set.

It kinda feels like how late 90s would stylize what they thought VR would look like with the flashy red and white and that static shaky quick cuts. I love it.

Same. I’m hoping for a set that relies less on just how large their video trons are. Something with personality.
