As of now Max doesn't have a PPV model. Don't know how difficult that is for them to add to the service but it could be a problem.

I'm glad they started putting the soccer on there as it is proof of concept for them doing live events.

They could make it so you can link your Max to B/R so when you buy a PPV it reduces the charge to $20.

exactly! They did too good of a job putting Punk on there to start and it set unrealistic expectations. now with the saturday show, it can avoid this criticism and be where its supposed to be. a fun, optional show with fun feuds that are mostly meaningless in the grand title picture, but thats fine because you dont feel like you have to watch it or miss shit

That being said they damn well better put Wardlow on Collision and Jade on Dynamite. Those championships should be on their proper brands.

fwiw there were slight hints from Zarian that champions would likely not be part of any brand split. Remains to be seen ofc

Yeah that was a concern I had was that they'd fuck up live streaming on it but I didn't know they had soccer already so that's reassuring

I know they've done a couple US National Team games. Not sure how well they ran but I'd assume better than B/R Live. They just started that like back in January or something.

We all would, but realistically speaking AEW gets like 100K+ buys on their big 4/5 PPVs. It would probably be stupid to kill that revenue stream.

Impact on the other hand, absolutely should include all of their shows on Plus.

Perhaps it would, but I mean if they get a deal good enough to off set that cost, then it could work.

No one bitched more than I did about $50 PPV after the network, but if they actually get the bag. Good.

If the buys dipped to like 40K, and still insist on that price, they’re mad.

But, this is also why I said $20 extra if you have max. You still save like $15 on the PPV.
