It’s honestly amazing. Punk is such a valuable asset to them, they’re getting a new prime slot better than Rampage and an extra $52 million a year.

AEW doesn’t report their margins typically, but that has to put them in the green for this year.

Reads to me like we'll essentially be getting stuff like Elite on Dynamite one week, Saturday show the next and Punk might be in Dynamite that week. Not unlike how they were originally doing Rampage until like last summer. We'd get stuff like Bryan on Dynamite one week but the week after he'd wrestle on Rampage instead and others would get Dynamite time

Reads to me like we'll essentially be getting stuff like Elite on Dynamite one week, Saturday show the next and Punk might be in Dynamite that week. Not unlike how they were originally doing Rampage until like last summer. so he's not "getting his own show" at all like some people made it sound like

I honestly prefer the original Rampage method of swapping people between shows. You don’t reuse anyone in the same week, but you also don’t keep the same people on Rampage every week. So half the card each week gets moved around.

And you could potentially keep a few on certain shows, but it probably wouldn’t be necessary.

Punk will most likely be on the Saturday show, though, for the foreseeable future since WB wants him to be the anchor to ensure it gets viewers.
