AEW Collision spoilers from Albany

The following are spoilers for the Saturday, November 16 AEW Collision episode taped Thursday night in Albany, New York at the MVP Arena.

AEW Collision spoilers for the November 16 episode —

• Mina Shirakawa defeated Harley Cameron with the Glamorous Driver — Lots of shimmies and rubbing chests in faces. Mina is over in Albany.
• Daniel Garcia defeated Johnny TV (w/MxM Collection) via tap out with the Cobra Clutch — Good match. During the bout, Jack Perry came out of the crowd and attacked Daddy Magic at commentary and dragged him to the back.
• Shelton Benjamin (w/MVP) defeated Komander (w/The Hype Man) with a powerslam — Albany popped for Shelton Benjamin’s entrance. Crowd chanted “MVP!” during the match. Shelton is an excellent base for Komander. Komander got more offense than you would expect but it actually helped the match. After the match, MVP told Benjamin to remove Komander’s mask. Alex came in but couldn’t budge Benjamin. MVP laid out Abrahantes. They didn’t get the mask.
• Powerhouse Hobbs defeated Bear Bronson (w/Beefcake Boulder and Jacked Jamison) with the Argentine Backbreaker (torture rack)
• The Acclaimed defeated Rush and Beast Mortos when Bowens pinned Mortos after the Mic Drop –The Acclaimed is the final team to qualify for the 4-way Tag Team title match at Full Gear.
• Lexy Nair interviewed FTR. They say it’s time to rebuild. Dax said it’s The Outrunners time and maybe FTR can wrestle The Outrunners for the AEW World Tag Team titles.
• Mariah May defeated Anna Jay in a no DQ match to retain the AEW Women’s World Championship with Storm Zero onto a folding chair — Very good match. It was a hardcore match. Both women brought weapons to the ring and used chairs, a ladder, a trashcan, a table and barbwire. Anna even superplexed Mariah May onto a metal guard rail. After the match, Mina Shirakawa came out and celebrated with Mariah May. Mina and Mariah will have a Champagne Celebration at Full Gear.
• AEW World Champion Jon Moxley on video cut a promo on Orange Cassidy, bragging about breaking Chuck Taylor’s neck. He called OC a cold blooded snake. The test, Mox says, will be Wednesday when Cassidy faces Wheeler Yuta on Dynamite. Mox feels the weight of every wrestler and every fan who’s disappointed in what AEW has become. At Full Gear, Mox says he’s going to plant his flag so deep, it will never get moved. They grab pro wrestling by the balls. If you can’t handle that — get out.

Acclaimed winning is ew but at least it seems Max Caster is going heel and Bowens might get a singles run (plus Max can eat pins instead of Shelton)

Doesn't really bother me that they win for the angle but kinda annoyed LFI lost more than anything when Acclaimed could also take the loss for the angle and neither are winning at the PPV anyway
