Dude had it figured out in WWE and Japan. Come in, work a couple angles for a few months, leave before people got sick of you

Take some time off and repeat the process.

I don’t know if it’s him that wants to stick around or TK is asking him to stick around but Jericho fatigue is a real thing.

I think Jericho is having a hard time transitioning to part time when he was such a front and center figure in the first few years. I get it. But I think he needs to listen to fans here, we've been super supportive of him for years and it's clear we need a break and it's ok for him to take a step back. The boys got this.

Jericho 100% needs time away. God knows the accusations against him, while unproven and there was some fishiness from the source, still are in the back of the mind of some. But ignoring that, he's been a near constant presence for the entirety of AEW's existence. I think some time away would do some good.

But the rest of the show seems like it'd be an entertaining watch. Flaming tables?! Is that REAL fire!?

I think you’re right when you say he’s having difficulty letting go.

His AEW run is the first time in his entire career where he’s been “The Guy”. Sure he’s been World Champion multiple times, sure he’s been one of the best wrestlers in the world at points but he’s never been the facial point of a company the way he was those first 2 years.

His ego won’t let it go.

nailed it

I hope he gets past it an realizes that AEW is still gonna do right by him even if he's not always on the show, AEW treats vets very well especially a day 1 guy. He needs to stop throwing his weight around and remember he will be way more over going away than getting groans from the IWC
