Hell hot take, I liked Kyle more with Briscoe. I have no interest in the Paragon like at all

I didn’t particularly care for Kyle in the conglomeration, but I was saying earlier that I would happily go back to that if I meant that strong stayed with the Kingdom. I don’t even care if Cole just split off to do singles, Kyle stayed with the conglomeration and then strong and OGK stay together because I thought Roddy and the kingdom had the best chemistry.

Roddy/Kingdom was shocking the best trip involving OGK in awhile I will agree with that. Roddy did his best work then really too

Yeah, I much prefer people just mutually parting ways and being cool about it. Like partnerships can end respectfully. Doesn't always gotta be someone turning

yeah don't get me wrong sometimes there's a feud I want to see, but it's become too much of a given that every partner turns eventually and the feud then becomes predictable before it ever happens. Glad to see more bucking of the trends recently

Like the only discourse we used to be able to have a out most tag team arguments is "will the one being a dick turn or are they swerving us and the other one turns heel" but now we can actually question if a turn will happen bc it's not a given just bc of some arguments lol

Ogk are heels. We have two Uber strong heel factions already. Plus hurt business

Exactly how would ogk be booked as a threat or interesting over the two top heel factions? They would also be shit faces (imo Paragon kind of mild on reactions ).

There's just no room for yet another 5 man heel faction. Unless they'd all join the elite but that doesn't make sense either to have a 8 ppl + in a faction.

Like I said, fine tag team I'd love to see work on their own. A breakup would have been nice. But with the lack of information on their deals, as well as the current alignments on the roster, yeah doesn't shock me at all. Id have no idea how to book that group or who they'd even feud with.

Im think how they reunited Paragon was meh too but at least they closed the book on mjf

Yea it was great I loved it. Roddy with them I like I just don't think them with cole as faces works at all.

I like kingdom a lot and sing their praises too. I just don't mind them being rotated out

Well no but it feels like you've been hung up on ogk every single time you watch the show and at one point I feel like it's ok to just say oh well and focus on what's in front of you. That's all. It's not like they took away a main eventer and again , we don't know why they aren't off tv either so I don't get being upset with aew when there could be a numbers of factors at play

Trust me, I wish that wasn’t the case for me either but every single time I start getting invested in AEW they seem to have just started getting a thing and then Tony takes them off TV again as it’s happened at least two times maybe three times. If this was the first time this happened, I’d be like OK maybe there is a reason for it, but at this point I just don’t believe Tony likes the kingdom that much. Which I’ll reiterate is mainly a me problem because it doesn’t seem to bother anyone else. So it’s fine.

I generally watch for the things that I’m invested in and then enjoy the things in front of me in the meantime until they become more things that I’m invested in.

Which is fair but you and I couldn’t be further apart because Cole is still one of the main things that I care about. So I’m at least glad Tony does seems to want Cole around and be pushed.

Did they return to ROH as heels because technically they were baby faces with Cole and Roddy all the way up until Kyle joined them for that one night only?

I’m not gonna pretend like I wouldn’t prefer undisputed kingdom over the death riders lol but that being said I’m not foolish enough to think that they would be pushed over them as the top heel group. Which is why I was happy for a minute when they did turn babyface because I thought maybe there would be something there.

But yeah, my bigger problem is mainly just how bad the whole paragon thing came about. Just a random name change in a backstage segment no storyline reason for the name change, no storyline reason for why the OGK just disappeared. No storyline reason why they showed back in ROH as the kingdom. If they at least gave me something to work with. Even if I didn’t agree with it. Something is better.

I think I just don't like this cole face run and the stories have been very surface level and it's made me apathetic to them as a whole. I'm sure if they give me a story to care about I'll turn around on it. It's just too cookie cutter happy to be here rn.

I do understand it's gonna need some time to rehab him and that title though, as the Garcia run made that title kind of an afterthought

Like even something as simple as with Kyle coming back to the group, they were going to focus on the trios division in AEW and the kingdom were gonna go back to Ring of honor where their home has always been because they want to reclaim the tag team titles.

But like you, I’m just not sure about paragon. Which is funny because I do love the undisputed era, but I do think Roddy’s chemistry with the kingdom was better at this point. I’m not gonna give up on paragon though. I’ll wait to see what they do with them.

I do think at this point though it probably would be OGK‘s best interest to go elsewhere. Not sure if WWE is the right place with their ages and their experience, but TNA should be able to give them a good run or if MLP can do exclusive contracts, I don’t know.

If I’m wrong though, and Tony does focus on them as a tag team that would be great. I don’t think it’s gonna happen on AEW television, but if they have a continued run on ring of honor that would be cool too. Just not sure about that happening.
