AEW Collision October 7, 2023 - FTR defend against Ricky Starks and Big Bill

Saturday night's episode of AEW Collision averaged 353,000 viewers on TNT, up eight percent from the previous week. The show aired one hour earlier than usual and got a head start on WWE Fastlane, which began at 8 p.m. Eastern. It's the third-lowest audience total Collision has done to date.

Collision drew a 0.09 rating in the 18-49 demo, up 12.5 percent from last week. The show also faced competition from college football and the MLB playoffs.

The previous week's Collision also went against WWE competition. It aired against NXT No Mercy. The five lowest-rated Collision episodes, both in terms of overall viewers and the 18-49 demo, have all taken place on Saturdays where WWE ran a premium live event.

Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and 18-49 demo ratings for Collision, as well as the 10-week averages in both categories. This week's show was down 27.1 percent in overall viewers and down 43.8 percent in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages.

FTR already right out of the gate, making Starks and Bill look like a legit threat. Absolutely getting hammered from the start.

Match is only going for like a minute and it’s so rich with storytelling already. Cash really milking that injury on the floor. DAX being ganged up on in the ring and can’t make a tag. Excellent stuff.

Starks is like a shark smelling blood in the water. Cash already being unable to do anything in this match due to his previous injury isn’t enough. Big bill gonna send them through the table permanently put them out not sure that’s wise though as I would probably would’ve did that to DAX so you would’ve had both of them out

I love how Bill gives cash a wedgy when he’s lifting him for the choke slam. It’s not enough to kill somebody these days. You have to assassinate their character. Gotta humiliate them.

The shit getting pretty wild though. I wouldn’t have thought FTR would’ve given them so much. Are they going to end this in a DQ?

I guess it wasn’t too bad idea because now there’s no way cash is getting back up but DAX is still limping in the ring and I think he’s selling his arm.

The ref is really letting this thing go. I guess Dax gonna do this alone and make himself look like gold.

I wouldn’t have gone for a Sharpshooter when you’re alone without a partner and have a hurt shoulder. Mistakes have been made.

I do love, bills, choke slam, especially the way that he pulls the tights up but I do wish he finished with the boot.

Of course, Starks, though he’s gonna blow the whole thing by not letting Bill pin him.
