I don’t actually think that was a full blown heel promo at all. He talked about how much he loved the fans, but he wasn’t going to apologize for who he was. It was more of a cross between a stone cold babyface that still hit people with chairs every week And a Bret Hart they got mixed reactions depending on where he was at the time, but he was still going to be genuine to him.

He said it best when he said cheer him, boo him. It does not matter to him.
