If Mariah hadn't left, and we was able to get more with her and Toni, I'd probably try to dispute that. But even though that's my favorite story, as a rivalry, yeah its hard to really dispute Hangman/Swerve being the best one in all of wrestling so far this decade.

I love the Toni Mariah feud but I think sweve hangman clears it by a wide margin for me because of more serious tones and the character growth of both hangman and swerve and how the feud impacted everything they did with anyone else. And at a deep character level. It's just, to me, next level story telling and character work by both guys.

Like I legit think hangman swerve wrecks bloodline story but that's obviously gonna vary from people, and I thought a lot of the bloodline stuff had similar growth at times . Especially for Sami and Hey

The Hangman stuff specifically has that same tier of emotional attachments for me as the peak of Sami/Jey in the bloodline which is actually quite rare for me despite how much I enjoy wrestling lol

yeah I also love that they can't get away from each other even when both wanted to try

And unlike almost all rivalries face/heel alignment has little to no effect.

To top it off , I love comedy and sillyness but this feud got so dark they legit had to stay serious which added to the emotions for me. It was very raw
