I don't know why people expected Punk to turn heel, especially on this show. It would've made no sense whatsoever, if he'd turned heel in or after a Match against someone who literally just turned heel 3 weeks ago.

Maybe a fully fledged heel turn won't even happening. I'm still very much thinking that they probably rather go with Collision/Dynamite specific "alignment settings" so to speak. That's at least what I got from Punk's promos way more than him just going normal heel.

Like I said, I could easily see them trying to do a Heel for Dynamite/Tweener (Face) for Collision type of gimmick for Punk. Especially with him as the supposed "Collision Guy"

plus they don't really need full heel punk atm, even if the plan is to feud with the Elite. yes the bucks are faces by definition but they still fairly dickish like Punk just in their own way

It's 2023 and it's AEW. Half the roster doesn't need to be confined to being labeled as a full fledged Heel or Face, imo. It's time to go away from this archaic, dusty thinking, especially with the type of in-ring work and how the audience reacts to it.
