I think its different in Boxing / Wrestling imo. I get your point and it does help me lay off of it a bit. But I see so many open gut punches, open face punches in wrestling, that trying to protect a punch seems strange to me. Agogo can't throw a single open punch because of the sheer power everyone is saying he has behind his punches. Especially as an Olympic Boxer vs anyone else. Wrestlers don't have their hands up and make quick and jagged movements to dodge / block punches like his. Wrestlers leave themselves incredibly open for stuff like that because most of Wrestling is grappling. So either you're going to have to have Agogo not throw a single punch - or you're going to have to have people go through a bit of Boxing training (which they may already do?) to at least sell that he can't just get an open hit anytime he wants.
I'm probably overthinking it. I've just never been a fan of punches as finishers.
