yeah but I'm saying it works the same way, the home promotion just chooses the champion but when they loan them out they let whoever challenge. NJPW can be more strict tho

I mean, you should also be running under the assumption CMLL *also* chose their champions and are fine as long as their person wins unless they agree to a booking change lmao
