Yeah, I don't get it either lol. I can surely see him winning tonight. Next week they could screw him out of it, but we'll have to see what they do.

Well that's the problem with having these rankings. Mox is/has been the number one ranked guy in singles competition. They've been implying that because of that, he's going to get a title shot. But now all of the sudden they decide they're going to have a tournament to decide the number one contender. Which is fine and all. But then what good does it do Mox to be at the top of the rankings if he still has to win two matches to get his title shot?

Records did but rankings did not, from what I remember.

TBH I don't mind them having rankings but in wrestling you can't be completely determined by it.

You still need to use storylines and contender matches. I'm fine with having Mox have to double earn it.

Sure but what about the times when the number one ranked guy just gets the match? Which has happened and will happen again I'm sure. Why do some people have to double earn it and some don't? That's illogical to me, unless they tie it into storyline where some higher up thinks Mox still needs to prove himself worthy.

What I would personally do is have the rankings give people random title matches on Dynamite, but make people double earn promoted PPV title matches. IDK if that’s what they are doing, but I’m fine with this. In wrestling you can’t have a strict system with no wiggle room.
