I thought it was pretty fun. I wasn’t expecting a masterpiece or anything so it was pretty much what I expected it to be and the sponsorship proceeds going to a good cause makes it a win.

yeah my only real issue with it was the lighting at one point was super dark and it felt like literally nothing was going on. the backstage stuff probably was a little long. I thought it was funny af once they got back in the ring and satnam being tied up. and ya I genuinely was more entertained by that match than Bunny Britt. fsr that one just didnt hit at all for me

Yeah the money going to a good cause makes my dislike of it not really matter. It lead to 100k for people who need it

and it was on tv for 10 minutes only, with people who are low card and no one cares about. so at least imo it was fairly inoffensive. get some food at worst segment. at least it wasnt on ppv and ppl paid to watch that lol

I will say this - cinematic match at hardy compound would have been even more lit. but I also understand Tony's aversion to playing stuff like that for the live dynamite audience, and why he usually does cinematics on fridays

...and just to think that these two are the Main Event. They are the top of the card and it is not only entertaining af, but also it somehow works with their characters.

...and I can imagine there are many people from the toxic fandom corner out there who shit on it as being "too silly/stupid" or how it downgrades them as Main Eventers.

honestly I think it's one of those angles where it's really hard for the *majority* of even haters to be like nah this is good shit

I watch sporadically so this was my first proper episode featuring Tony Khan as a character. Fun stuff.
