Wheeler Yuta being involved in All Out - that is something I never expected, but really glad he is featuring on the card

Yep, that was a fucking wrestling show. Probably the best PPV for me since Wrestlemania 30. Just a heater all the way through with the only real cooldown being Tall Paul/QT, but that's pretty much required for most shows.

-The tag title steel cage match was nuts. Didn't expect the tack filled shoe. Absolutely gnarly and didn't expect the Lucha Bros to win. Popped hard for that.

-Cool to see Ruby in AEW, although I will say it's kinda surprising they didn't go with Thunder Rosa here to diminish that stigma of pushing WWE talent right away without them truly earning it. I'm down though. Soho/Britt will be good regardless.

-Punk and Darby was very solid. I've seen some say it wasn't as good as they though or that Punk looked "slow" but when you haven't had a full match in 7 1/2 years and are facing the quickest guy in the company, it may come off that way. Plus, that was his worked gameplan I'm sure. Slow down the pace because he knew he couldn't keep up with Darby. Loved the Bret/123 Kid callback spots in this and the two GTS's were taken really well. Good stuff. Will be interested to see where both of them go from here.

-Cage/Omega was somehow better than their Rampage match I thought. Probably the stiffest match Christian has ever worked, and at 47 years old and also with over 7 years off, he can still go with the best of them. Could have done without the interference at the end, but other than that, it was great. Shame the crowd wasn't as into it as the other stuff. I blame QT. :lol

-And yeah, what can you say about the post match segment? Absolutely nuts. Didn't expect Cole, just Danielson, and it popped me pretty good. On the surface this comes off as a completely overbooked fantasy style mess, but I'm enjoying it so far and just along for the ride. I'm just glad everyone is happy and I'm excited about the future of wrestling and where it goes from here.

1. Eddie Kingston vs. Miro: ***1/4
2. Jon Moxley vs. Satoshi Kojima: ***
3. Kris Statlander vs. Britt Baker: **3/4
4. Lucha Bros vs. Young Bucks: ****1/2
5. Women's Casino Battle Royale: **1/4
6. MJF vs. Chris Jericho: ***
7. Darby Allin vs. CM Punk: ***3/4
8. QT Marshall vs. Paul Wight: *
9. Christian Cage vs. Kenny Omega: ****1/4

The Buy In match - was so so. A Fairly messy ten man tag team match, but it was as expected. I'm hoping this BF vs. HFO feud is going to go somewhere though, rather than just being a floating storyline.

I also marked for Ruby Soho and could see how happy she was, and I'm willing to bet she probably cried her eyes out in the back afterward, knowing how WWE is treating people these days. Didn't agree with the decision to have her win, but after thinking about it: perhaps they're working on setting up Thunder Rosa as a heel with the "You stole MY shot-Jealousy" angle with Ruby to leapfrog into a Britt vs Rosa Revolution match in January where Rosa goes over (which is probably what needs to happen). Or, them bringing in Ruby Soho and having her go straight to the main event and win the title from Britt at Full Gear is a "Statement" to WWE and their talent: "We'll take your "cast offs" and "thrown away toys" and make them champions."

I was sure I was going to see 2.0 and Daniel Garcia come out and attack Darby/Punk/Sting to set up a trios mini-feud. I was shocked I didn't see it.

I enjoyed Kingston vs. Miro, it was solid for what it was.

Moxley wearing that GCW hoodie makes me sick. Him and Kojima had a great match, but like the Miro/Kingston - neither matches I feel was turned up to 100 - as both matches could have been top tier. And then Minoru Suzuki. SUZUKI! OMG OMG OMG

The Forbidden Door is amazing at this point
