He could have opened up more for Austin and I think he would have been booked much better afterwards but he's awesome in AEW so it is what it is

Shania Twain said:
His Austin interview hurt him a lot, we can't forget that
It definitely damaged his perception, but I don't quite blame Mox. Austin was trying to make him something he isn't, I'd say.

I don't question the wisdom of someone like Austin when it comes to the industry, but I do think not everyone has to have the same mentality to be successful.

Austin brought up the comparison but Moxley could have taken that into a direction that helped him more. Instead he was just off in that interview

Yeah I think Austin had the mentality that he was going to help Mox become the next him basically, and they weren't on the same page there.

Assuming Mox retains here, I'll really be looking forward to his defense against Archer

Mox talkin' more about hardcore matches moldin' him while Austin was wrestlin' nuthin' like that, yeah it just didn't go anywhere near it needed to

If MJF wins, hopefully he loses the belt to Archer :lol

I don't see Mox losin' here at all even though the way Mox wrestles he'd probably make a better transitional champion

I think it's a good bit too soon for MJF

And frankly when you got guys like Kenny, PAC, Cody, Cage, Lee, Archer, Hangman, etc. around... I feel like one or two of those guys gotta get a turn before MJF

I do agree with that EC but MJF is a top heel

I think he's exceptional tbh but I don't think his star is where it needs to be for them to pull the trigger on him, I guess
