Because if rumours are true they stormed into Punk's locker room and started a fight. I've just been listening to Cornette's take on it and during the discussion Brian Last points out that their not just wrestlers storming into another wrestler's locker room starting a fight, their excectives doing it. That's a great point because they've just opened AEW to legal action.

Also I don't buy that there wasn't issues before Punk got there. I think these things have been rumbling for awhile. There are factions in the AEW butting heads and its unhealthy.

Punk may have thrown first but if someone breaks down your door what do you expect lol. What probably happened was Bucks and omega were banging on his door and he ignored them so they kicked it open. Punk swings at one of them and everyone starts fighting. It becomes a brawl and Ace bites whoever it was and Punk throws the chair. Finally it’s broken up.

Cornette isn't really worth listening to as far as modern wrestling goes, but any topic pre-2010 I'm on board for any day of the week.

I'd give him up until 2012 or so maybe, idk why that year always feels like a big shift in wrestling culture to me from the old guard to modern stuff

Brian Last is a cornette lapdog too though and has never really gotten any story confirmed. all he was really doing is relaying the ace side of the story (imo of course). so Cornette going off on how Punk was right and all this crap cant be taken seriously, dude just waits for any opportunity to hate boner for them.
