Also I’m out of the loop but why are you all so confident MJF is gonna be champ? Isn’t it highly probable he’s gonna split when his contract runs out?

Yea…like if Punk was in his prime right now, I say keeping him would be more important. But Punk probably only has like 3-4 years in the tank, where Omega and Bucks probably at least have like 10.

If a choice had to be made, it’s clear. I would have let the Elite walk if it was just the scrum to be honest because our tour pants on, but yeah, the fight is a different story.

You can’t lose the Bucks and Kenny Omega when Punk might restore from injury by next year, regardless.

Yeah, not exactly sure what the real deal going on there is. Kayfabe the man is basically out the door in 2024. Real life, no one truly seems to know.

so if Punk walks. Can we say it should have been Danielson getting the push?
I know it’s probably his own choice, but the utilisation of him in AEW after the first couple months has been borderline criminal and very sad lol. I’m a huge danielson mark and I genuinely couldn’t give a fuck what he’s doing any more cos it’s all pointless

Just talking for me. I’d hope a renewal was made before bringing him back to television. He was out 5 months.

I wouldn’t bring him back and have him win the joker if he’s still not signed a new deal. I wouldn’t risk it.
