However, there is one side that claims Punk threw the first punch when the Bucks came into the room where the brawl broke out while the other side claims the Bucks were the aggressors and Punk and Steel were defending themselves.

This bit screams to me Punk threw the first punch and people on his side spinning it. If Bucks threw the first punch, they would just say that

Maybe I misinterpreted it, but the original reports made it sounds like a hallway confrontation, but that makes sense.

The issue now is if it was both in the locker room AND the Bucks started the fight like Dave says is also a possibility, I’m at that point fully on Punk’s side and I hope that don’t start new rounds of discussion, lmao.

Fwiw we dont know who said what and who grabbed who or wtv. Only thing weve heard is one side said punk swung at matt multiple times. Punk side saying bucks started it. Neutrals so far seem to say punk swung first but who knows if they were there.

That seems to be the case, yeah.

I think they mean other than going into the locker. In both scenarios Dave laid out it’s clear they did in fact go to the locker room. I think the question is did Matt and Nick start pushing or go to kick or indicate a fight was going down.

Hard to say, but it seems possible with this report.
