He should have put Punk in his place at the presser and made sure security followed him out to avoid shit n this should have been dealt with months ago b4 it boiled over. He needs to grow a set n stop being a mark
He should have, but I maintain he liked it. Tony didn’t even try, and at times seemed giddy. Only reacting negatively a couple times and mostly when he shit on MJF because he’s clearly gearing up for him to be champ.
I’d also assume he wouldn’t have promoted it. All the socials tweeted it out. He be tweet even timestamps to the moment Punk specifically calls out the EVPs, lmao.
But, yeah, imo, Tony should have addressed the rumors about Punk head on like Tony does when the rumors about him. Tony is always on this immediately, right?
He then should have done more than whatever he did to Hangman. To ensure no more shooting. He should also found the leak for at least the Colt rumor and punished whomever that was. Stop the leaks to the press. Including Punk if Punk was also talking to them. No leaks policy.
Then he needs to get more security in general and coral the violence. Perhaps Eddie needed a more severe punishment. That might have helped here as well.
And lastly, yeah, should have made sure Punk, Elite, Hangman and MJF were kept apart and cooled down.
