I mean hypothetically if someone slandered my name in public and assaulted me for something I didn't even do... I would take a long time before trusting that person. And in wrestling you need trust.
I mean Dax is talking in public about it so it was a matter of time someone from the Elite side said something in public but everyone needs to stop doing everything on twitter and on podcasts. Leave it backstage.
At the end of the day, if the Elite don't want to work with Punk Dax should stop talking about it and both groups should do separate programmes until the Elite change their mind or Punk leaves. Dax talking about how great the match would be is probs not helping, see the abuse the Bucks got when the all the titles match never happened that Dax kept talking about.
I have zero issues if the elite don’t ever want to work with Punk. I will say I think it’s more Bucks don’t.
We don’t know who’s innocent or not of spreading stuff from before, but going forward there should be zero provacation from wrestlers in public trying to stir up drama. I don’t recall Dax ever saying anything negative about anyone publicly, but if he did, shame on him and he should stop. Cutler through I know was caught red handed keeping the beef public.
If the only thing you’re talking about that Dax was doing is talking about how great their match would be that I don’t really care about. He’s allowed to think a match would be good for business. I don’t think that’s the same thing as publicly stating a coworker of yours is gaslighting your company.
