Eh, pretty much live by the sword, die by the sword situation. It gave AEW a pop when he came in and created a slight bump in the road months later. I honestly just want him done with wrestling. I love Punk. Like really enjoy Punk the wrestler. Just don't think the juice is worth the squeeze anymore.

I think that's the thing, and this is obviously pure speculation cause I don't know the guy personally. But, is he able to come back and not feel that he's being underutilized if he isn't at least getting another run with the main belt? Not only that, but I don't think it's hard to see at some point the fans will want him there too and it'll just create a need that TK might not be able to ignore at some point.

i dont buy those new Punk politicking stories at all, it was always obvious Punk was getting the belt.

FWIW Mark Henry also said on his podcast The Elite apologized backstage when they came back and cleared the air to the rest of the locker room so its only fair for Punk to do the same

I'll say this: I had heard the story long before the discord message thing dropped over the weekend. So I wouldn't call it a "new" story. I'll say this though: Punk should not hold the world title again. It didn't work the last two times and it lead to a lot of issues with TK having to book on the fly which he is not very good at

Yeah the FTR "heat" seems way on the nose if that's related too lol AEW wished everyone congrats for the WON awards but purposely left off FTR as tag team of the year and only gave Briscoes credit for feud of the year, which Dax instantly pointed out.
