A for this dog business, the story was always that the dog and the wife were in the room and that’s why things escalated the way they did. I have zero desire to argue this thing anymore. No one here was there and that includes me. Maybe the dog was hurt, maybe he wasn’t, but that would make far more sense for me for why Punk and Ace reacted the way they did. It doesn’t matter either way though, Ace is fired, Punk is being bought out and the Elite are retiring to their jobs. It’s time to move on.

But why bring it up 7 weeks later (noticeably right when The Elite are rumoured to be coming back) when it was a very valid excuse to lose your shit? We have heard from Punk's side and friends already. So why hide this from his friends because it wasn't just Dave reporting on Punk's side? It was SRS too. I'd be telling my friends yeah I punched them cause they hurt my dog.

That's why I think it is spite personally. If they hadn't released it literally hours before the Elite were rumoured to return (and did) I'd be doubting it was less. But yeah unless the investigation is released publicly I doubt we will know for certain but I'm getting less and less willing to have punk back unless we get a public apology for the press conference especially with him thinking it wasn't a big deal.

If Punk only said the dog was kicked or something I’d feel like maybe it’s a spite issue, but going out of your way to say the dog had surgery to remove its teeth feels too concrete of a lie that he can be easily busted on.

I also don’t think he’ll apologize anytime soon considering people washed their hands of him already. Maybe if he wants to go to WWE he will, but if quits wrestling again, I very much doubt it. I also don’t care that much about the shoot interview. It’s the fight I’d want to hear a sorry for.

Most of the time Tony was backing Punk up. He only really got anxious when Punk smashed MJF and then the Elite stuff. Everything else about Hangman and Colt, Tony either nodded in approval or spoke in Punk’s favor.

I get that, but still feels like Tony wants to be your friend and not your boss, which a perfect balance isn't bad.
