"I have to go now. Chicago needs me."

Note: CM Punk died on his way back to Chicago.

What's interesting is CM Punk carries around baggage like Bret Hart does. I understand he hates Colt Cobana, and that he was pissed about rumors about him trying to get him fired. But like bro Tony gave you the main title, you are the top guy in the company. You come out after winning and totally ruin the narrative of the event. You make your boss look like a total jerkoff, and lash out at everyone. You are making a shit ton of money, and you are focused on a guy who was pushed off to ROH. You worry about EVPs in the company that you are positioned above. You are the guy who had the pipe bomb, but get worked up about other people talking shit? Maybe I'm thinking too far into it. haha.
Nah I think you're reading the situation pretty well.

For me, this is a situation of Punk making his own bed. I totally respect his right to vent however he sees fit, but he has to deal with the consequences (whatever those may ultimately be). You feel you're being unfairly maligned and perhaps undermined by people who you are supposed to trust, I get taking issue with that. A less bitter individual would have enjoyed the insanely good position they're in professionally and squashed the beef man to man with those he had problems with. And that's probably the most bullshitty part of it to me, is calling out Hangman for a second time over a petty grievance and dragging his name through the mud while he isn't even there to do anything about it. I only cut him a little slack because everyone is prone to getting caught up in the moment and possibly doing/saying things that they wouldn't do regularly, so I'm not by any means saying that Punk has irreversibly damaged his credibility or personality with me... I mean, I already know how he is, this isn't necessarily surprising... but he does have to own up to his role in pretty much derailing this whole weekend and making the entire company look bad because he lost his cool.

And I will also state that, of course, I'm not absolving The Elite of any wrongdoing if they are actually pulling some dirty shit behind the scenes. That's a bitch ass snake ass move if they're really feeding the sheets to try to paint Punk in a bad light but as far as I can tell that's nothing but rumor and innuendo, while there's no questioning the underhanded nature of Punk's actions.

I will not be making any further statements on the matter unless there's more verified info to come out in the future.

Well I've already said I'd prefer no one get fired so if it works? :lol
Well the meeting didn't work. Suspension would need to be longer than a week I think. But I think it'll be quick. I expect nobody to be fired. I expect slap on the wrists. I expect punk to get fired or work by this time next year because I don't think it'll work.

The only major difference I'd say is that Eddie started it with Sammy, then pie faced him. Bucks rolling into Punk's locker room, then getting hit is different in ways still

that's fair. I guess Eddie didnt punch someone in front of legal but there is a philosophical difference.

I still think this only gets solved if someone gets jumped and the shit beaten out of them. Just depends who strikes first :side:

I mean, there's also a small chance that after a few days, the violence and getting all the aggression out might help pave the way to a resolution

For sure. Plenty of times folks are mad at each other, fight it out then everything is good after and they talk easier

CM Punk and Ace Steel vs The Young Bucks in a shower match. First team to beat their opponents, strip them naked, and throw them in the shower wins.
