So while VKM is firing people by the truckload and selling his family home to keep the lights on (!) Tony Khan is spending big money to get some great stars on board... (obvious troll is obvious, right?)

They have a lot of wrestlers. I am not saying to fire some of them but they should definitely consider who is worth keeping when their contract is up.

Do they really need him? What is that extra thing he can bring to the table?
It's OK bringing indy wrestlers on pay per appearance on Dark but most of them have no business appearing on the TV shows so what's the point of signing them?

I like having good jobbers for stars to beat myself if they aren't expensive. It's only an issue to me if you want a Jake Atlas to get a push...I wouldn't want that but I like him so I'd be cool with him signing.

I mean Jake Atlas is LTBTQ+ clan so I'll gladly take him. I'm not familiar with his work but his Japanese and Mexican heritage suggests he should be interesting in the ring

If he's just used as a jobber, you probably really don't even have to sign him to anyone other than PPA and just use him when you need to have someone job out, or something on Dark.

I think they should be much more exigent with their new signings now that WWE is out of this market. Currently they are the top of the mountain for indie wrestlers so they should be more selective.

If they sign him, he probs gets a push. Khan wanted him originally when starting AEW but Atlas choose NXT.

I can't explain any of it. But I do know Tony Khan puts on a good show week in week out. I don't remember the last time I finished a Dynamite and thought "well that was a waste of 2 hours".

So yeah. I don't know why he needs so many people on the roster but maybe he's got big plans for the coming months....
