Yeah, I didn't mean to imply there wasn't a difference. I just meant there are different levels of change in mind for everyone. For instance, bush wanted to completely reform Social Security. Obama wants to change the economy in the favor of the middle-class citizens, and Hitler wanted to completely abolish the preceding form of government to exercise his own personal agenda. Yes, Obama made the economic change promise the main staple of his campaign, but that is what the number one problem in the eyes of American citizens. I doubt Hitler gained support from his people because he related to their hatred for Jews.
lol, you won't find a single speech were Hitler says he would have abolished the previous form of government.Hitler's pre-elective speeches were all about how social-democrats fucked up the economy and sold German asses to France and GB,and ultimately Jews; how he would have ''changed'' things restoring the Reich's glory.
Obama's changes are considered radical compared to the previous presidency, but so much to America in general. Either way, it's still a far ways away from Hitler.
I never said they had close ideals or anything similar to that.I pointed out they both proposed a major ''Change'' and they did, even if with completely different ideas.
Well, I was just referring to the President part, but I had previously thought that he was appointed to the premier position by Hindenburg.
Nah, in the historic episode called ''failure of democracy'' the majority of Germans voted for Hitler.
He didn't declare it abolished, but once he acted upon that article it technically was. And I knew about the Constitution of Weimer being written before Hitler. But the fact that the "safety issue" in question was completely rigged by Hitler's people showed that Hitler created the problems that people supported his ideas on....which they really only did because they were afraid of what the communists had planned for them (which at the time was actually nothing). It's similar to Bush/Iraq. He gained support for the invasion by falsifying evidence and making the American public afraid that Iraq was really a threat to us.
Well to be completely honest, apart burning the parliament, which is just the appendix, Hitler didn't create ''problems'', he created culprits and gave solutions, whatever they were.
He played following the rules, found a weakness and abused of it.
Summarized from above....Hitler had 95.1% of Germans agreeing with his policies because he had them believing through false pretenses that the communists were a threat to Germany.
Actually communists were a thread to Germany. In the same year(1923) Hitler failed a putsch in Munchen, Communists failed in Hamburgh.Again, Hitler outsmarted everybody.
Anyways, as you can see, as much as Hitler and Obama are different, and it's undeniable, they do have something in common, even if minimal.
I posted those 3 points more like a joke to laugh about, but like it or not, they aren't wrong.
