Alright, you really are an idiot, deezy. I've not seen ONE wrestler or promoter in the history of professional wrestling/sports entertainment say it's easier to entertain a "small pocket" of fans vs. thousands. In fact, every single interview I've ever seen regarding wrestling says it's easier to entertain thousands than it is to get a small gym to go nuts for you.
CM Punk
Daniel Bryan
Antonio Cesaro
Mick Foley
John Cena
Batista
Randy Orton
Triple H
HBK
Stone Cold
The list goes on and on... all those guys have DVD's and talk about wrestling in front of small crowds before they made it big-time and how hard it was to get those "small pockets" to pop. Hell, I believe the universal quote from all of those guys is, "If you can get over in front of a crowd of 10, you can get over in front of a crowd of 10-thousand."
In fact, I'm CERTAIN that Heyman, JR, Patterson, Funk ALL chimed in the same sentiment when they watch tapes of these guys trying to entertain small crowds as the factor of belief that the guy can definitely GET OVER in a major market.
