In all fairness to Emma, you can only go so far when:

1. Working with a Dancing/Oddball Gimmick on The Main Roster when there's at least 3-4 people who do either one better
2. Your first program on The Main Roster pairs you with eternal comedy jobber Santino Marella

Invalid arguments, same circumstances in nXt. Same feud in nXt with Summer Rae and had no shed of credibility except she was Lance Storm trained. Getting over with a small crowd isn't the same as a main roster crowd. Like saying someone got over in the indies means they will get over on the big show.....it doesn't work that way.

^You're ignoring the booking. Summer Rae is one of the best female wrestlers in WWE... she is booked to be a ditzy blonde... she is told to hold back in the ring. Same with Emma. Emma is over though. There are LARGE PORTIONS of the crowds who do that shitty ass "dance" ...

Lost me at summer Rae being one of the best female wrestlers.....she does the same old schtick on Raw that she did in nXt. I get nXt, I've watched it since its inception, nothing you suggest is convincing me otherwise.

Getting over on nXt isn't the same as getting over in the main roster. Small pockets of people are easier to entertain than a crowd of thousands.

Alright, you really are an idiot, deezy. I've not seen ONE wrestler or promoter in the history of professional wrestling/sports entertainment say it's easier to entertain a "small pocket" of fans vs. thousands. In fact, every single interview I've ever seen regarding wrestling says it's easier to entertain thousands than it is to get a small gym to go nuts for you.

CM Punk
Daniel Bryan
Antonio Cesaro
Mick Foley
John Cena
Batista
Randy Orton
Triple H
HBK
Stone Cold

The list goes on and on... all those guys have DVD's and talk about wrestling in front of small crowds before they made it big-time and how hard it was to get those "small pockets" to pop. Hell, I believe the universal quote from all of those guys is, "If you can get over in front of a crowd of 10, you can get over in front of a crowd of 10-thousand."

In fact, I'm CERTAIN that Heyman, JR, Patterson, Funk ALL chimed in the same sentiment when they watch tapes of these guys trying to entertain small crowds as the factor of belief that the guy can definitely GET OVER in a major market.

Oh you're throwing out insults now, first sign that you are winning your argument. 8D

I watched Jay Lethal and Delerious reenact the whole Savage/Warrior match infront of barely a hundred people and looked like shit doing it, and they were going nuts. Small pockets are easy to work and they are the biggest marks there is. All you need to do is simple shit like get them involved, acknowledge a few and guess what...You look like Hulk Hogan.

And....Do you ever stop to think wrestlers and promoters don't discuss the niche hardcore fan, because for most promoters, they are their only fans.....fucking derrrrrrr. Check out a Raven or Sabu shoot and they talk about that shit in ECW.
