ADAM COLE VS. STEVIE RICHARDS
A former ROH World Champion takes on a legend LIVE in Atlanta! Stevie Richards is back to challenge himself against one of the top stars in Ring of Honor. And Atlanta is always ready for more Stevie! Recently, Richards has faced ROH World Champion, Jay Lethal, in an impressive outing that proved he hasn't lost a step. Then on a recent episode of ROH TV, Stevie Richards answered the RODDY VS. THE WORLD challenge for the ROH World Television Championship!
Stevie Richards is in the absolute best shape of his entire life and it would be a mistake for Adam Cole to take this match lightly. But Cole has a lot of other factors playing into his state of mind, with the biggest taking the form of Kyle O'Reilly. Although Cole managed to defeat O'Reilly at FINAL BATTLE, the win was anything but honorable. Adam Cole is determined to work his way back into the championship picture and needs every win he can get!
On paper, Richard certainly looks like the underdog despite his veteran status. After all, Cole is a former ROH World and TV Champion and considering one of the absolute best in the world today. But Richards has spent his entire career a kind of underdog, as a lackey and a sidekick. Now he's reinvented himself and is more motivated than ever before.
