I was originally against AEW doing a brand split, but they have so many people on the roster now they kinda need it actually and the funny thing is it doesn’t have to be the same as WWE. You don’t have to do a dynamite and collision split when you have ring of honor right there, all you have to do is actually devote a permanent Roster. That’s only ring of honor and make people have to watch ring of honor if they want to see those talents but for some reason, Tony doesn’t wanna pull the trigger on it so like Jeff said just fold it at this point.

I think the only issue with a brand split with roh is you have to sell it as dev. No one will take that brand as an equal seriously at this point , which is why if they can't figure it out if rather have a final event, retire the belts and enshrine the library on max

i dont think you need to even brand it as such tbh, I know theres a lot of people who like NXT more than Raw and SD. I mean alot of that could do with the fact that talent is constantly revolving door and new stars are shown or established. I mean to me just sell it as just that development and if you have it on exclusively max or w/e when a top star is made and they debut on AEW its going to create buzz.

Yeah that's a big proponent of why it's not working, cold ass tired crowd who let's be honest came for aew not roh.

On your note of Austin in AEW, I agree the roster is quite full. Though I do think he could carve himself a spot there with his outstanding work and pretty decent look. I feel he would be a decent foil for guys like Mark Briscoe and Mike Bailey. He would also fit in bang bang gang if they are ever healthy , and I can also see him fitting in with the elite. I'd like so see him feud with a guy like Kyle o Reily as well
