The opening theme of Friday Night Fix, Lordis own Hard Rock Hallelujah plays over the PA system while red white and blue pyro blasts off from the entrance ramp. We open up the broadcast once again with our two favorite color commentators.

Hello everyone and we welcome you LIVE to Friday Night Fix from the American Airlines Arena in Phoenix, Arizona! This is Joey Styles along side “Sweet N Sour†Larry Sweeney!
Larry Sweeney:

Joey Styles:
I’m not exactly sure the validity of that sponsorship Larry, but let’s not waste another minute, we’ve got opening round action with Bob Sapp Vs. Val Venis Vs. Shelton Benjamen!
Match #1: Val Venis Vs. Bob Sapp Vs. Shelton Benjamen
Ding Ding Ding!
We begin the match with Val Venis and Shelton Benjamen nodding towards each other in agreement, after being put through one match already with Bob Sapp they know what they must do to succeed. A double dropkick connects to the chest of Bob Sapp, forcing him against the ropes, as he comes back, Val and Benjamen duck under dangerous clotheslines from the Beast and float over into a double DDT as well. Shelton comes back to his feet with a snapping jumping front face kick to Sapp, forcing him back down to his back just long enough for Val to dance at the side of Bob Sapp in his traditional taunting way before dropping a big elbow across the throat of his opponent. Val goes for a cover and doesn’t even get a two count before Bob Sapp throws him off, with authority! Shelton Benjamen belts in some strikes over the head of Sapp in an attempt to slow the monster down, but he gets tosses to the other side of the ring like a rag doll as Bob Sapp roars in primal rage at the impromptu handicap match. Venis comes into the fray again trying for some body shots to Bob Sapp, but he delivers a vicious head butt to the big Valbowski, and then hits him with a gutwrench suplex, which allows Shelton Benjamen to try and come behind with a German Suplex, but Bob Sapp elbows his way out of the predicament, and turns around just clobbering The Gold Standard with a lariat! Bob Sapp keeps on his offense on Benjamen, lifting him up with both hands by the throat and hitting an impressive double handed choke bomb onto Shelton Benjamen! With The Gold Standard really being totally destroyed at this point, Bob Sapp adds insult to injury with one final big move, connecting with a nasty T-Bone Exploder Plex! He goes for the pinfall, one, two, Val Venis breaks it up!
Joey Styles:
Oh man! Bob Sapp is just destroying all of the competition!
Larry Sweeney:
AJ Styles was no fluke opponent Joey, Bob Sapp’s strength and power are the real deal man. I hear AJ is STILL trying to recover from Bob Sapps beating, and I think Benjamens going to join him.
Val Venis continues to smash forearms across the back of Bob Sapp and even goes so far as to stomp on the foot of Bob Sapp allowing him to complete a Fishermans Suplex! But he has to release the bridge because quite frankly, Sapp is just too large for Val to hold onto for long. Sapp and Venis both return to their feet as Val Venis continues to slug fists into the side of Bob Sapp, but The Beast will have none of it as he gives a huge knee to the stomach of Val. He turns Val around, and prepares to deliver a Final Powerbomb to the pornstar, lifting him up above his shoulders, and comes crashing down forcing Val Venis to the mat! Before Sapp can even get a cover on him however, there’s Shelton Benjamen up right again as he gives the most desperation dragon whip of his life in order to knock Bob Sapp off his feet! Once again, we are afraid the advantage doesn’t last as Bob Sapp just keeps on coming! He bulldozes over Shelton Benjamen with a shoulder block, and turns around as Val Venis hits him with a calf kick to the chin! Sapp stumbles around from the hard shot, before Venis is able to somehow lift him up into a back body drop! Val Venis woozily gets back up to his feet, before receiving a surprise Pay Dirt by Shelton Benjamen! Valbowski looks totally knocked out at this point, as Shelton Benjamen goes over and covers for a pinfall. One, two, three!!!

Joey Styles:
Wow, three weeks in a row, and three pinfall victories for Shelton Benjamen! Bob Sapp has been a helluva force to deal with, but Shelton is the one who has been getting the pinfalls!
Larry Sweeney:
He’s a very resourceful guy I tell you Joey. Val Venis did all he could, lasting longer than I thought he would, but if there is a man who I can believe may be able to take Sapp by himself out of those two, I would pick Benjamen too.
Joey Styles:
Well we are actually scheduled to speak with Bob Sapp in a few moments, but first it appears as if our General Manager Paul Heyman has a thing or two he wishes to share with us!
Let The Bodies Hit The Floor plays over the PA System as Paul Heyman himself does come out, except accompanied by a whole boatload of security. He has a somber look on his face however, as he shakes his head in disappointment, entering the ring, and begins speaking on the microphone.
Paul Heyman:
Last week, my authority was disrespected. A certain individual decided that he was going to take matters into his own hands, and proceed to attack an ABC superstar, unprovoked. So for that, Kane has been deemed a hazard to the roster, and I can’t afford to have any more superstars maimed by this freak, so he has been removed from the building for tonight! He will however be allowed to compete in the Main Event at Ascendancy, and as promised, I have a reward for his pinfall victory over Samoa Joe. In this particular Triple Threat, if Kane is to lose this match, he MUST be the one to be pinned to the mat. So if Brock Lesnar or Shawn Michaels should try to pin one another, they will simply end up eliminating one anther. And the remaining member of the match must still pin Kane in order to be rewarded the ABC Championship.
Joey Styles:
What an announcement!
Larry Sweeney:
That sure gives Kane a HUGE advantage, he only has to pin one man to win, but HBK and Lesnar may have to end up pinning TWO just to win the belt!
Paul Heyman:
Now earlier I mentioned Samoa Joe, and speaking of him, it seems that JBL and Joe just can’t seem to resolve their differences. I tried to help them find common ground in six man tag action, and they failed to pick up the win. I tried to put them in triple threat action, and their conflict could not be resolved. So what am I to do? Simple. This Sunday, at Ascendancy, its going to be Samoa Joe Vs. John Bradshaw Layfield, one on one. But there’s just one more thing, in order to make sure you can find a decisive winner among you, its going to be No Holds Barred! That is all.
Joey Styles:
Wow, what an awesome proclamation by our General Manager, not only is the face of our Triple Threat match changed, but we have an additional No Holds Barred contest to look forward to!
Larry Sweeney:
Well now we go to the ring, where its going to be Your Worst Nightmare, facing off against The Second City Saints! And you know this is going to be good Joey. The winning team goes to the final round of the tag tournament to face either Generation Next or Triple X!
Match #2: Y.W.N Vs. Second City Saints
Ding Ding Ding!
We start off with Stamboli and O’Haire running across the ring to the Saints corner, and unleashing heavy blows to Cabana and CM Punk, forcing Colt to the outside while they both continue the beatdown on CM Punk, with the referee trying to restore order. He is able to isolate Johnny Stamboli from the ring, allowing Sean O’Haire to continue smashing elbows across the back of the neck of CM Punk, and then dragging him by the hair into his own corner, squashing his opponent across the throat with a knee drop. CM Punk still tries to escape from his predicament, but O’Haire grabs him by the leg and kicks it out from under him, tagging in Johnny Stamboli. Colt Cabana now comes back from outside of the ring and tries to get some vengeance on the heel tandem, but the referee stops him, becoming distracted, which allows for Y.W.N to hit a double leg splitter, followed by a leg drop back senton combo, before the referee finally turns around and forces O’Haire to the apron. Stamboli picking up Punk and slapping him across the face, but CM Punk is by far not out of things yet, hitting a nice back spin kick to the gut, complimented by a snapmare, and a dropkick to the back of the head, allowing CM Punk to make a tag to Colt Cabana.
Joey Styles:
We thought for a second there that CM Punk would become the victim of a double team situation, but he was able to use his presence of mind to take out Stamboli and tag in the fresh tag team partner!
Colt Cabana now begins slapping his shoulders circling around, ready to lock up at any second, and Stamboli gets to his feet and obliges, overpowering Cabana before he has a chance for any tom foolery, and backs him up into a corner, but Cabana is still able to slip under the grip of Stamboli and tucks and rolls under the legs, rising to his feet behind Stamboli with a “Colt Cabana!†shout to the crowd. He celebrated a little too early however, as he turns around just in time to eat a loud noised big boot from the Bull. He flexes his muscles and yells at the crowd, and turns back to Colt Cabana to lift him up but is caught in small package! One, Two, Kickout. Stamboli rises to his feet with Colt, who ducks under a clothesline and grabs the arm for an armdrag takedown, floats over to the other side of Stamboli with a Crossface submission, but then rolls over to the legs and turns it into a deathlock STF! Stamboli is able to power himself out of the hold, but is nevertheless embarrassed as Colt Cabana begins to strut around the ring in a comical manner celebrating his advantage. Colt Cabana looks over at Stamboli, who slaps his hand on the mat in frustration and tags in Sean O’Haire to deal with Cabana.
Larry Sweeney:
I don’t blame Stamboli for tagging in O’Haire, Cabana can be a really annoying guy to wrestle with!
Sean O’Haire now enters the ring with a wide and wicked smile on his face, Cabana offers him a handshake, which O’Haire obliges, and pulls Cabana towards him, but Colt ducks under against, twirls the arm into a hammerlock, but O’Haire able to elbow him in the head, and turns it back into a short arm position, kicking Cabana in the gut, whiles Stamboli runs into the ring to attack CM Punk, who somehow saw the attack coming, and pulls the top rope under and ducking, causing Stamboli to get stuck on the top rope. O’Haire is able to pull Cabana towards him this time, and hits him with a surprise widowmaker! With CM Punk distracted he can’t quite save his partner, as the referee counts, one, two, thr-no! Colt Cabana is able to kick out, as CM Punk clobbers Stamboli with a mean Muy Thai kick knocking him senseless, and CM Punk gets Stamboli on his shoulders at the apron, and in a very impressive spot, hits a Go To Sleep to the outside as the fans rise to their feet chanting for CM Punk for that spot! O’Haire picks up Cabana and delivers a succession of bionic elbows, before scooping him up and hitting a basic body slam. Cabana is able to counter out of a bad predicament with a drop toe hold, and does a very fast roll over grabbing O’Haire by the head and tries to hit a swinging neck breaker, but O’Haire counters trying to go for a Flyswater, but Cabana also counters this move by trying to pull up O’Haire with a Colt 45! But no says O’Haire, as he holds his ground and unloads three knees to the gut of Cabana, before lifting him up for a second Widowmaker, but there is CM Punk, who drills O’Haire with a Busaiku Knee Kick causing him to drop Cabana and land on his head! On his way back up, O’Haire finds himself on the receiving end of a Colt 46 Double Team Maneuver! The Saints dog pile O’Haire as Stamboli is just a hair too late to stop the three count!

There you have it Sweeney! The Second City Saints are heading to Ascendancy!
Larry Sweeney:
They cheated their way into it that’s what they did Joey. CM Punk took out O’Haire and then illegally inserted himself into the match to help out Colt Cabana get the cheap win!
Joey Styles:
Well our opinions may differ, but let’s go to the back with a man who’s opinion may differ from a lot of people, Bob Sapp!
Bob Sapp stands alone in the backstage locker room area, as he is pacing back and forth, angry at not being able to win his matches decisively. He turns towards the camera, and begins to speak in a rather humorous high pitched almost raspy tone.
Bob Sapp:
For the past three weeks, I have been an unstoppable force in ABC Wrestling. I have destroyed my opponents so bad, these hands should be declared weapons of mass destruction. But no, I have punks like Shelton Benjamen coming into my business and screwing things up. Well i’m letting you all know right now that at Ascendancy its just gonna be him and I, and I will be walking out of that building as the ABC Television Champion. I am the highest marketable man on the planet today, and Shelton Benjamen is gonna learn what its like to receive Pay Dirt, because after this Sunday, that’s all he’s getting paid, dirt!
Bob Sapp suddenly becomes distracted, as right up next to him comes William Regal.
William Regal:
Very good sir very good, we all enjoyed that little bit of a spat you’ve shown us now didn’t we? Well Mr. Sapp, I hate to tell you, but my value as a wrestler is rising tremendously since I started my Regal Invitational. Nobody quite knows what to expect from me, so my segments are rated accordingly. So the way I see it my good man, is that since I draw these ratings, there is no better fitting Television Champion than yours truly. You can deny it all you want, but no matter how hard you or Mr. Benjamen have tried, it all matters naught, for I have made a deal with Mr. Heyman that if I keep up my good performances, I may just receive a Title shot against one of you blokes. And it just so happens that I will be showcasing my talents once again, up next. I encourage you to tune in, you might learn a thing or two.
Joey Styles:
Some very arrogant words their from William Regal, as he is certainly in a happy mood since defeating Charlie Haas, but right now we have his very Invitational going on, let’s take it to the ring!
Match #3: William Regal Invitational
With William Regal out and in the ring warming up for his match, we all know the drill as we are expecting a surprise opponent to pop up from out of the back any second now. Suddenly, drums begin to play over the PA system as well as a chorus of “The Champ Is Here!†starts playing along with it, before a hip hop inspired theme takes over, and KENTA makes his way to the ring to a good ovation from the crowd. Not many people were expecting his presence here tonight, but regardless, he is here, and he is ready to face William Regal for his invitational.
Ding Ding Ding!
The match starts out with a very slow pace, William Regal trying to feel out an opening in the defense of KENTA, who also weaves around the ring a little bit, almost too confident in his chances here, as he doesn’t seem to be taking the ring veteran too seriously with his facial expressions. KENTA tests the waters out with a front spinning roundhouse kick, which Regal ducks and tries to grab the leg of his opponent, who finishes off his motions by coming with yet another roundhouse kick from the other foot, cleaning William Regals clock, but he still instinctively upon the fall is able to trip up KENTA, and takes this moment to regroup with a sitting leg lock onto his foe. The Japanese sensation doesn’t allow this to last long however, as he flips over to a position where he is able to kick at the head of Regal some more, which causes the pride of Blackpool to angrily rise up to his feet while holding out the legs of KENTA and stomping viciously at the mid section of Kobayashi. The referee goes to check in case that was an illegal low blow, which Regal capitalizes on his added time by untying the turnbuckle in one of the corners without the referee noticing. When things start getting back to normal with KENTA rising to his feet, with Regal coming right at him with unrelenting punches and knees to the face, but KENTA is able to show his own proficiency at the stand up game by hitting several low kicks, then some chops, before hitting a beautiful spinning back kesagiri chop following by a roundhouse kick to the head! William Regal wobbles backwards, clearly stunned by that move, allowing KENTA to come at him with a shining enziguri kick, before going behind him and hitting a tiger suplex with the bridge! One, Two, Thr-Kickout by William Regal!
Joey Styles:
What a combo rush by KENTA there, almost taking out William Regal for good!
Larry Sweeney:
It’s going to take a helluva lot more than that to put away Regal, Joey. KENTA is getting way too confident.
Indeed it does seem as if KENTA is getting a little confident as he stops Regal in mid rise and starts lazily kicking him in the face multiple times with the front of his boot, but Regal slaps out the leg from under KENTA and tries to roll his opponent over into a Regal Stretch, but he is too strong at the moment and kicks William off of him. Regal tries to come back and knocks off KENTAS block with a European uppercut in the corner, and then prepares to irish whip him across the ring into the exposed turnbuckle, but KENTA scouts the maneuver, and is able to whip Regal into the buckle instead! He writhes in pain at the backfiring of his own plan, as KENTA rears up and prepares to run straight for Regal with a Busaiku Knee Kick, but Regal moves at the last second, blasting KENTAS knee into connecting to the exposed steel, and worst yet, he gets stuck by his other foot on the top rope in a tree of woe position! William Regal wastes little time to capitalize, and hits a Hangmans Union Jack from the ropes! KENTA is totally helpless at this point, trying to favor his knee while at the same time being totally taken out of the equation by that Union Jack, allowing William Regal to grab the exposed leg, and locking in the Regal Stretch! There is no longer any escape at that point, as the helpless KENTA has no choice but to tap out.

Another one bites the dust Joey! And William Regals case for a Television Title shot is just about ready to be sealed and delivered to the desk of Paul Heyman I’d wager.
Joey Styles:
Definitiely a decisive victory for the Pride of Blackpool. Although with the assistance of an exposed turnbuckle. But you can’t argue with the results that his invitational has had so far. We will be right back after these messages.

Match #4: Generation Next (Shelley, Aries) Vs. Triple X (Daniels, Low Ki)
Joey Styles:
Well we are back ladies and gentlemen and I am sure the fans are excited to hear that Bryan Danielson will be finally making his debut here at ABC Wrestling, but who will his opponent be?
Larry Sweeney:
If it aint some ham and egger from the developmental terrority, I would bet you my billion dollar singlet that American Dragon plans on cashing in on the William Regal Invitational!
Joey Styles:
Either way an exciting contest it will be I’m sure, let’s take it to the ring for the final qualifying match for the finals of the World Tag Team Tournament!
Ding Ding Ding!
The contest starts out with Austin Aries squaring off against Christopher Daniels. Aries locks up violently with the Fallen Angel, and snaps his head in between his arms and drags Daniels down with a headlock takedown. Daniels wraps his legs around the head of Aries locks in a head scissors counter on the ground in order to gain the advantage. For being the in the game with Aries for so long however you would think the situation would be predictable, as Aries pops out from the leg scissors and plants Daniels with a dropkick to the face. Christopher Daniels rolls out of the ring already dazed from the short while being in the ring. But Austin Aries is far too pumped up at this point to give in, as he stomps his feet and runs to the ropes, flying over the top with a plancha suicida! The fans are already on their feet for this feat of aerial supremacy. But they are even more shocked to see Low Ki coming straight in between the ropes out of nowhere with a suicide dive of his own! As all three men now are laying on the outside, slowly trying to rise to their feet, Alex Shelley doesn’t disappoint as he trumps all previous maneuvers by jumping up to the top rope, and completing a shooting star press on top of both opponents as well as his own team rate! The fans in attendance immediately clap their hands in appreciation, cheering all the while.
Joey Styles:
We’ve barely gotten into this thing and already we’ve got bodies flying everywhere!
Larry Sweeney:
It’s like a bad epsidoe of Mucha Lucha Joey!
All the men try to get back up to their feet, Shelley and Daniels up first, with Shelley exchanging forearm strikes with his current opponent, before tossing him into the ring, and running after him with a snap up enziguri kick, but the referee steps in before Shelley can do anymore damage, informing him that he is not the legal man. Hypocrisy ensues as Low Ki throws Aries into the steel steps away from Shelleys corner, and then throws him inside the ring to where Christopher Daniels steals a move from Gran Akuma and hits him with a totally unsuspected Yoshi Tonic! One, Two, Kickout by Aries! Christopher Daniels quickly switches over from the pinning predicament to the Koji Clutch! The devastating submission maneuver has Austin Aries being pulled in so many places at once he probably can’t feel his chest beating. Alex Shelley is quick to break up the submission attempt, and in comes Low Ki to cause havoc once again, trading blows with Shelley, before kicking the back of Shelleys leg and causing him to fall right into the stiff knee of Ki. Austin Aries returns to his feet just in time to get a sleep sweep and running double foot face dropkick to the chest by Triple X! Christopher Daniels goes and hits the Best Moonsault Ever on Aries, but while Low Ki goes to the top rope for his double foot stomp, Alex Shelley gets back in the game and shoves him off the top rope! Christopher Daniels tries to go up to the partner but Shelley hits a backfist stunning the Fallen Angel, Austin Aries comes up from behind Daniels and hits him with an atomic drop, and Shelley performs an STO at the same time that Aries hits a backdrop driver! They both go for a double pin, one, two, thre-Kickout by Christopher Daniels!
Joey Styles;
What great tag team action we have so far here Sweeney! None of these two teams are willing to give in!
Larry Sweeney:
Something’s gotta give, but it looks like Generation Next has something else planned!
Alex Shelley is now scouting his position, allowing Daniels to rise to his feet while Austin Aries ascends the sky for what looks like could be the 450 splash. As Daniels wobbles to his feet, Low Ki comes from the apron and hits a vicious kick to the back of Aries head, sending him right into the barricade! Alex Shelley tries to go for the Shellshocker, but Christopher Daniels is able to hold onto himself tight and spins out of the finisher and kicks Alex in the gut and lands the Angels Wings! Low Ki comes crashing down over the chest cavity of Shelley with the double foot stomp! They go for a pinfall, but the referee is telling them that Shelley is not the legal man! Low Ki pounds his fist into the mat, and goes after the fallen Aries on the outside, who rebounds just in time to lift Low Ki up and smash him over the guard rail with a snake eyes! Aries then bounces Low Ki off of the ring post with authority and comes straight for Christopher Daniels, he is able to take him out with a flying forearm, and then drops Daniels again with a body slam. When he gets up a third time, Aries sets him up for a Brainbuster, but Daniels somehow is able to flip out of the move and land on Austin Aries shoulders, and hits a rushed and therefore botched looking reverse rana! Aries stumbles to his feet completely dazed, as the Fallen Angel comes at him and drills him with the Last Rites! The referee comes into position and here we go, one, two, three!!!

Joey Styles:
Well ladies and gentlemen we didn’t exactly get to see a lot of tagging in and out there, but certainly a wide foray of high flying and double team offense to make up for it!
Larry Sweeney:
And its gonna be Triple X Vs. Second City Saints for the World Tag Team Titles! Its an Indy Dream Match Joey! I love it! Let’s head to the back for one last promo with Shawn Michaels and Rob Van Dam before we head to the Main Event!
We head backstage where Todd Grisham is standing in between Shawn Michaels and Rob Van Dam, who both look confident in their chances in the up coming matches for the Main Event tonight, as well as their respective matches this Sunday at Ascendancy.
Todd Grisham:
Hello everyone this is Todd Grisham, and along side me, we have contender for the ABC World Heavyweight Title Shawn Michaels, and contender for the ABC International Title Rob Van Dam. In just a few moments you both will meet your monstrous opponents in Brock Lesnar and Giant Bernard, what is your strategy going into this match?
Shawn Michaels:
Well you see Todd, when you’ve been in this business as long as I have you begin to get a certain knack for developing strategy on the fly. Going up against two big guys like Bernard and Lesnar, you can’t really plan too much. But I tell you one thing, the second one of us sees an opening, you can bet the show is gonna be over. All it takes is three seconds to finish a match, and its even quicker before your hearing some Sweet Chin Music. Which is going to be exactly what Brock Lesnar and Kane feels this Sunday at Ascendancy. With a guy like Rob Van Dam, and a guy like The Icon, you can’t possibly lose.
Rob Van Dam:
And hey, who knows what’s going to happen am I right? These guys may be big, but they aren’t quick like we are. I mean, I’m just doing what’s natural. I go out there, I wrestle, I win. There’s nothing to it. I mean, expecting to see Rob Van Dam win a match is like expecting to see great ABC Wrestling action every week. Its inevitable. But you know what, there is only one highlight reel that you need to see, and that’s me. R-V-D. I am the whole damn show-
Before Rob Van Dam can even finish the words on his lips, Brock Lesnar and Giant Bernard jump on the scene and begin breaking loose a huge backstage brawl with their tag team competition. We can hear Giant Bernard yelling something about RVD underestimating him, as all four men now battle out of the cameras view. We cut to the front where all four men now begin sprawling out from the entrance ramp, with Lesnar devastating HBK with hard shots to the head that cause him to bounce and sell down the ramp like a rag doll. Giant Bernard and RVD continue to brawl on the ramp, making their way down to the ring in a more slow motion sort of way, before Shawn Michaels rolls into the ring followed by Brock Lesnar, and our match is now officially under way!
Ding Ding Ding!
Main Event: HBK & RVD Vs. Brock Lesnar & Giant Bernard
Shawn Michaels tries to gain an advantage over his surprise attacker by clubbing fists over the upper back and neck area of Lesnar, but he simply double legs Shawn Michaels and begins raining down MMA like forearms across the face of Shawn Michaels. Giant Bernard tries to irish whip RVD into the ring post, but Rob is able to reverse it into the turnbuckle, and then he jumps up on the apron and slingshots himself over the top rope with a leg drop across the head of Lesnar! The referee gets RVD back into his corner, as Brock Lesnar is still trying to get a shot at the Extreme Original. But this gives Shawn Michaels the fighting chance he needs to hit several chops to the chest of his opponent, and then an inverted atomic drop, but Brock only gets annoyed at this and quickly recovers with a power lariat flattening the Showstopper! Brock Lesnar now drags Shawn Michaels by the hair and throws him into Brocks team corner, and begins to stomp a mud hole through his opponent! Brock Lesnar starts to walk it dry, as HBK pulls himself up by the ropes, and Giant Bernard tries to choke him out with the tag rope, but Shawn Michaels turns around and clobbers him over the head to release the choke hold! Brock Lesnar tries to come back into things with a huge spear, but Shawn Michaels is able to move out of the way, forcing Brock to connect with unforgiving steel! Shawn Michaels crawls over to his corner, but Lesnar catches his foot in order to try and stop him, only to receive an enziguri kick to the head! With one final leap of faith, Rob Van Dam makes his way to the ring!
Joey Styles:
In comes Mr. Friday Night, and I have to say, that was a brutal way to start this match up!
Larry Sweeney:
I guess Brock and Bernard wanted to take out the competition early, but its to no avail as Rob Van Dam looks to steam roll the competition now!
Rob Van Dam comes straight into the ring with a spinning wheel kick to Lesnar. Giant Bernard comes into the ring and gets a spinning back kick, followed by RVD running against the ropes, and bouncing off of the back of the former A-Train and kicks him in the gut. Bernanrd catches his foot, and RVD tries and Enziguri of his own, but the Giant ducks the kick, and RVD smartly rebounds with a reverse kick to the face! Brock Lesnar tires to take out this fiery threat with a kick, but RVD floats over with yet another heel kick spinning over the leg of Lesnar and knocking him down once again! Giant Bernard finally able to take him down with a few clubbing blows to the small of the back, and Shawn Michaels tries to come in for the safe, but the referee blindly pays attention to HBK rather than try to stop Bernard and Lesnar as they double powerbomb RVD straight onto the mat with force! Shawn Michaels gets forced back into the corner, as well as Bernard finally being taken out, only for Lesnar to tag him right back in, and they start stomping away at Mr. Pay Per View for four seconds before the referee almost reaches a five and Lesnar goes away once again. Giant Bernard starts working over RVD in the corner, before RVD is able to catch a lucky break and ducks a wild lariat, and hits a rolling thunder shoulder tackle in the corner, before back flipping twice, and running straight back, and amazingly Monkey flips Giant Bernard to the middle of the ring! Unfortunately for RVD, we see Kane lurking in the audience right next to the ring, where he is supposed to be banned from the building! Shawn Michaels immediately smells trouble, and goes after him, leaving his partner alone.
Joey Styles:
What the hell?! Kane isn’t even supposed to be here tonight, and he is ruining yet another ABC Main Event!
Larry Sweeney:
Shawn Michaels shouldn’t of taken the bait! He saw what happened to Kurt Angle last week, and now the same thing is about to happen to him!
As Shawn Michaels and Kane brawl on the outside backing up towards the dressing room area, Rob Van Dam prepares to go up top, trying to finish this match early with a Five Star Frog Splash before its too late. Brock Lesnar however comes into the ring to try and stop him, punching away at RVD. But the Highlight Reel is able to fight him off, even so much so as holding on the heel of his foot and just spiking the heavyweight title challenger across the back of the neck with a STIFF kick, Low Ki style! Brock Lesnar flips over the top rope, and seems to be laying prone on the mat, and RVD takes the bait, and he hits the Five Star Frog Splash on the tag team partner! He is however having his celebration cut extremely short as Giant Bernard rebounds off the ropes and destroys RVD with a Bicycle Kick that knocks him out cold. One, Two, Three seconds later, and its all over.

Damnit! Damnit to hell, the numbers game ended up getting to RVD, and Shawn Michaels is still fighting with Kane, we’ve lost sight of those two, but damnit, Lesnar and Bernard steal one!
Larry Sweeney:
If Shawn Michaels hadn’t tried to be a big hero about things and go after Kane, they could have had this match. But it just goes to show you that you just can’t trust Shawn Michaels as far as you can throw him!
Joey Styles:
Regardless of what just happened, those three men will meet this Sunday at Ascendancy, and Giant Bernard won’t have Lesnar there to help him when he fights RVD one on one! We will see you then, good night everybody!
