wait goldberg jewish?
Taken from Wikipedia:

Bill is proud of his Jewish heritage and refused to hide it in the wrestling world.[47][48] Goldberg's Jewish ancestors came from Russia and Romania. His Romanian grandfather, Marcel, emigrated from Bucharest and came to America through Ellis Island.[49] His other great-grandfather, Willie, was an immigrant from Russia. Goldberg was raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he had a bar mitzvah at Temple Israel[50]

And here's the main source: source.

It's an interview in a Jewish magazine.

Ryback is the man. The only people who don't like him are internet goobers who eat too much fast food and jerk off at smartphone porn to get to sleep at night.

God. People complain about BLFFL threads but it wasn't her that ruined this thread. It's a good subject to discuss as I've read many people say Ryback should win if he's going to be put in these positions (people who aren't fans of him). It just made logical sense.

Did it really make logical sense though? Would a dirty win over Punk have helped that much?

Oh, either way a Ryback win would make this angle a lot more interesting. Should have happened.

Probably not. Would have needed to be dirty enough for Punk to have an excuse, but clean enough for Ryback to look strong. Hard to do. However, any victory helps. Personally, I don't think this feud should exist. If they're going to push Ryback like this then he has to look strong, but I'd rather him get buried so he can get repackaged.

Definitely. They've had enough creative finishes in this feud to think it's possible though.

Did you feel like the tag match on Raw was kind of a burial? They had every tag match ever before Punk came in and wiped the floor with both of these guys in a minute then added insult to injury by tagging in Truth. Seemed to go above and beyond typical tag match booking to make you really think that these two jabronis can't stand a chance against Punk... Maybe they're redoing build to NoC. Maybe they're setting up "If Punk wins then he gets 5 minutes ALONE with Heyman inside the Cell" with "Hey, Heyman's protectors totally suck, so order the show and you'll finally see Punk beat up Heyman! For real this time! :)"

Hopefully they see things the way you do (doubt it) but wonder if the Ryback character could withstand a losing streak angle.

Tbh, I have no idea what they are going to do. You see a burial like that and think "Hmm, it looks like they don't hold Ryback in high regard and it's simply pure filler until Punk gets to Heyman", but then they surprise you with a hometown beatdown and shit. Honestly though, they need to hurry and let Punk beat up Heyman. Punk can then go recover again or something until he comes back to get in the title picture. Ryback can then have the same hiatus but return a completely different animal - a silent one preferably. I liked his early silent but lethal angle where he simple destroyed faces and heels and then walked off. None of this playing to the crowd stuff.

Yeah man it was such a burial. They're so buried. They'll never show their faces on television again. :upset:
