Sometimes these international rights deals seem so arbitrary because AAA is owned by a US company but air me in Mexico so Max only will play it in Mexico but not the United States.

Obviously I'm no expert, but from a distance this feels more like a case where the WWE simply didn't do their homework (or cared enough) to do everything they can to get AAA immediately onto the screen of US households after announcing the purchase of the company.

With their standing it probably would've been quite easy to get something done about this during these last 2 months.

This Histeria is the former Bengala, not the Ricky Marvin Bengala, the Super Nova Bengala, or the Arkangel Divino Bengala. Or the CMLL Bengala, whose injury at the hands of one of the Dr. Karontes (but not the one who was Mini Murder Clown) may have effectively ended his career. This Bengala turned Histeria is the former Legendario, but not the Legendario who is now Dragon Legendario in CMLL or the Legendario who was around in the 90s, but instead, the Legendario who used to team with Dick Angelo 3G, the new Taurus who is not the Taurus who is now the Beast Mortos and not the Taurus is now Gran Guerrero. The match should be good.

I've found the gimmick changes have been pretty easy for me to reconcile when I started thinking of the masks as recasting characters in TV shows.

Disappointing though that he doesn't talk about how this La Parka isn't the La Parka from WCW who is LA ParK and is related to Super Parka who used to be Volador related to Volador Jr., and it isn't the La Parka from 2000s AAA who's sadly deceased and used to be Karis La Momia but not the one who was famous in the 1960s obviously, this La Parka is the guy who used to be Brazo de Oro Jr., but not the original Brazo de Oro Jr. who is now La Mascara

I've found the gimmick changes have been pretty easy for me to reconcile when I started thinking of the masks as recasting characters in TV shows.

It works when there's less complex cases, like how there are two Mosco de la Merceds. But then you get situations like in about 2010 when you hear "the former Mascara Sagrada has been repackaged to the new Alebrije" and there's two former Mascara Sagradas on the roster at the time, and it doesn't help that both used to be Super AAA, so it's hard to distinguish them

They also had 2 Psicosis' on the roster at one point as well, but one was just repackaged as Nicho El Millionario. Also not exclusive to AAA but the Mysterio/Misterios. El Hijo del Rey Misterio is the son of the original and the cousin of WWE's Rey. That version of the character is the one that got the blessing to be "Jr".
