The lucha libre promotion known as AAA has made it’s way to the states! I have been keeping you all up to date with the influx of TNA talent floating between the two promotions in the past. I am now proud to announce that not only do they have a game scheduled for release on Xbox 360 and PS3 this year, but starting in July they will have shows broadcasting on MTV2! (Check your local listing for time slots.) They currently only air broadcasts on the all spanish channel named GALA. Hopefully they will have english speaking announcers for their MTV2 version of the broadcasts!

Not sure how true this is, my source is from a wrestling news app on my iPad. Hopefully it's true, love watching AAA but get tired of my sucky Spanish trying to translate it and pretty sure my wife gets tired of doing it for me.

I saw the commercial for it on MTV2 but dont remember it saying when it will come on, so it will probably be just a pilot and see how it does.

Yeah, I saw a commercial a few weeks ago, its supposed to start sometime Mid-July I think. Hopefully this doesn't end up like WSX lol. The funniest part I thought was they showed Ricky Banderas in the commercial lol.

Too bad AAA has probably the shittiest booker in wrestling history and is a totally minor league product compared to their competition. I'm admittedly interested in seeing exactly where this goes, but I can't say I have too high hopes for things, especially since it's on MTV"2".

Isn't AAA the biggest Mexican promotion along with CMLL?

I'd check it out is they didn't speak Spanish the whole time. So I'm hoping they have English commentators.

When did Russo relocate to Mexico? Or did Herb Abrhams?

In all seriousness, isn't Konan booking it? Lucha is already over the top crazy and I think Koko just books to the the audience.

Yeah, Konnan books AAA. It's not booked badly at all from what I've seen, more exposure for it the better.

This will be interesting to watch. It'll be nice to hear and see this on English tv again and I wonder if they'll keep Micheal Jackson's thriller as La Parka's entrance music on each episode.

I heard it isn't AAA going to MTV 2. It's a branch off of it or something. I think something along the lines of how Dragon Gate, and Dragon Gate USA is. I also heard Chuck Pulumbo is the head booker, and they are having a hard time finding talent to bring in. The biggest name i've heard to be on the show is Magno.

It comes on Friday July 16. It looks like its AAA I just saw a show talking about the different wrestlers. A few worth noting that I saw was Mark Jindrak. La Parka, and Jack Evans. It looks ok, but it is Mexican wrestling so it will be over the top but I'll give it a chance.
