When we asked if she would ever consider entering the Rumble herself, Charlotte put the focus back on pushing the women's division to new heights.

"I have the Women's Championship and I think our focus should be building a stronger division, showing that we are just as big of a draw as the men, but once I'm not in the title picture anymore, I think it would be great to enter the Rumble, because at the end of the day, I can outwrestle some of them, but it would have to make storyline sense.

I hope in the future, if we have a big enough division to do it or if they ever bring RAW and Smackdown back together, I'd love for us to have an all-female Royal Rumble. I think that would be awesome."

Considering Charlotte has been on the forefront of women breaking ground in RAW main events, Ironman matches and the first ever female Hell In A Cell, we have full confidence it won't be long until she helps usher in the first ever women's Royal Rumble match.

The only issue I see with doing this as that they don't have enough women on Raw and Smackdown to make it worth while.

They don't have enough jobbers, mid-cards, or elite. They have way more men than women which makes the rumble easy for the guys... BUT I don't see why they can't include a female or two in the actual rumble each year. Not sure why they only did this a few times to begin with.

Charlotte...My Bae, My Amazon, My Goddess...

*Sigh*

Great post Solidus...

What do you mean "Worth While"? I don't understand...
They don't have enough jobbers, mid-cards, or elite.
Well...If they included all the ladies from RAW, SmackDown, NXT plus
a few surprises surely they could make it up to 30 right? Didn't I make
a list of the current ladies on the WWE roster for this thread?

Okay I just did a count...including Summer Rae, Paige, Lana, Maryse
and the NXT ladies there are 28...

If we are looking at one for 2018...we could throw in Brie Bella, Rosa
Mendes, Eve Torres and Trish Stratus if they are physically able and
chose to do it as a one off...plus there could be more signings and a
stronger NXT women's division by then.

Positive Thinking...and Wishful Thinking...
:p

What I meant was that they don't have enough women with women left over to compete elsewhere. Like they usually have 2 main stories involving the women wrestlers on each show. That eats up about 10+ right there. Then you have to factor in that the title holders will not be in the rumble and likely have someone they are facing. I get what you mean by everything and there is nothing wrong with wishful thinking but I don't think they have the smarts (creatively) to pull this off. Sure you can drop it down to 20 women and have a smaller rumble but in comparison, most people just wouldn't care. It means more to me to see a woman enter the MENS rumble. Don't you think?

Well...its cool...and I'm hoping Charlotte will get a spot this year...but...its not
like a woman will ever win the MENS Rumble...so is it really...worth while?

I wouldn't say never ever... I mean if they really want to break the mold, the next larger than life female (brute strength) could go after one of the men's titles. Yeah I know they haven't done anything like that since the PG era took over but if we really want a revolution, that would be historical. I know a lot of people would likely view it as promoting male to female abuse, but it is far from that in my book since both of them would be wrestlers who want to participate in a match. Plus it is scripted anyways. Think Trish and Lita vs Jericho and Christian.

Like the right kind of male wrestler could easily wrestle a female without hurting her. Yes there is a strength issue involved (male wrestlers being strong) but that could work in their favor, specially if a woman wrestler sells moves well. I don't know. Maybe I am wrong on this. I know it likely wouldn't fly in the PG era unless the woman was a buff body builder and even then, I know some people would still take it the wrong way.

How did this turn into a conversation about inter-gender wrestling?

I was saying that having the women in the main Rumble is a "novelty"
and while its cool...it is totally pointless at the end of the day.

The ladies need their own Rumble...and possibly their own show on
the WWE network.

Only $9.99 a month...

Sorry...I don't know where that came from...

I do not agree with men and women wrestling each other...its just
too much of a "grey area" as far as I'm concerned.

Even back when Chyna was around and kicking ass with the men
it just didn't...feel right...to me...

I'm not saying that women don't have the strength or skill to wrestle
against the men...I personally just don't like watching it.

I know what you mean that is why I said it wouldn't work today, even if they tried it again. It is too touchy to be on TV.

Wasn't taking your thread off topic, just going into more detail about women being in the main rumble with men and the very, very (very) small possibility of one going after a "men's" title.

(Don't be afraid to mark my posts "disagree" either, I know you didn't like it lol)

But to get away from the that topic and back to yours...

If women had their own Rumble, wouldn't they need an entire separate PPV for that? I mean that is a HUGE time eater and if they did have one, wouldn't be fair to have the men's RR main event every time.
And while the idea of having a women's only show sounds good in theory, it is still separating the sexes too much. Having them be mixed makes more sense to me. They already have their own show (which is far from my cup of tea). I do think that IF they did do a RR for just women, their would either have to only have the two RR matches and maybe the main title matches and that is it OR have a separate PPV where the women's RR was the main event. I mean why not at this point? They have 2 PPV's almost every other month of the year lol

Its cool Snake...I'm kind of worried about marking posts with a negative rating...
Someone had an issue with it once...so If I don't like or agree I tend to just leave it.

Yes...way too touchy...

May-be the idea of a mixed tag team holding the tag titles...like for example Charlotte & Rusev...
I mean that could work for a "well written" storyline. The key being it would have to be well written to work...and if its RAW...well...fat chance of that happening...lol

Well...perhaps if the WWE were to have a special women's only pay per view...
include the the first women's Royal Rumble as the main event of that PPV and
let all the ladies compete apart from the 2 (or 1) Champions.

That would mean a lot of ladies would be pulling double duty...but as long
as no one gets injured it could work out.

The winner of the Royal Rumble gets a title shot for their respective brand
and to make it more entertaining you could have the 2 (or 1) champions
on commentary for the Rumble match itself.

You could have the Rumble...2 Championship matches and perhaps a
5 on 5 Survivor Series style elimination match. Perhaps also have the NXT
title defended that night as well.

I mean...it sounds like a great pay per view to me...but I love women's wrestling...
not all wrestling fans do.

I know "back in the day" many fans called the Divas/Women's matches the
"Piss Break" match...and its possible that some fans still have that attitude.

I'm the opposite...I'm mainly concerned with the ladies...because I'd rather
watch wrestlers who I find attractive.

:p
