I was quite pissed to see Punk take a "heel" roll with his MITB... but the irony of it happening to the Ultimate Opportunist kind of paid off... almost as if Karma paid Edge back for everything he'd done up to that point.

Yeah, that's 100% what they were going for. They said "Hey, Edge did it, everyone's pissed at him, so let's have Punk do it to him,"........poetic justice. Lol, they should tun Edge face by giving him a "My Name Is Earl" gimmick (I'm just kidding, you don't need to tell me how horrible that would be).

Assuming there is a MITB match, I'm almost 90% sure that MVP will come out the winner. After the whole losing streak, that would be a huge win. Not to mention how much the fans are getting behind him as a face, I imagine he'll be pretty big by WM time.

Kofi doesn't have a shot in hell. WWE does soem stupid things time to time, but they do know when to, and when not to push a guy to the main event. He isn't even used on an every week basis, and at this point, isn't even uppermidcard. He doesn't have a shot IMO.
MVP should, and probably will, win it.

I'm getting the feeling we're more likely to see Shelton vs. MVP at Mania for the U.S. Title. Yet another reason why these belts are looked down upon, they're not even defended at the biggest PPV of the year...instead the title holders are trying to win a shot at another title, as if they're not already holding one.

Anyway. I think the match should be given a new dynamic this year by inserting a big man...preferably Umaga. I'm sure he could pull off some insane spots.
