Only one thing I want to add is build Y2J aka Chris Jericho(c) as a more believable champion don't have him be the third person involved in the feud.
Original Winner Brock Lesnar wins and faces Kurt Angle for the WWE Championship at WM XIX and wins the gold only to nearly break his neck in the attempt.
My Thoughts on the Winner At the time they were strapping a rocket to Lesnar, in retrospect there isn't anything wrong with him winning at the point in time. However given recent events I wouldn't have him win the Rumble if we knew back then what is being talked about now. Yet he hasn't been convicted as far as I know so at this stage but for argument's sake I am going in a different direction.
Revised Winner But for a change of idea of winner, I would actually give the win to the FIVE TIME, FIVE TIME, FIVE TIME, FIVE TIME, FIVE TIME WCW Champion Booker T.

My Thoughts on the Winner I honestly thought they planned the Batista and John Cena spot the first time I watched the match.
Revised Winner So I would just do the 94 Rumble finish instead of restarting the match between Batisa and Cena and a result both men are co-winners of the match.

This co-win for Batista and Cena sets up the two matches for the WHC and WWE Championship for WrestleMania 21.

My Thoughts on the Winner I didn't like the fact that they added another ten entrants to the Rumble it didn't add anything new to the match. Also I was never a fan of Alberto Del Rio, and given what has come out about him in later years I was right not to be.
Revised Winner Sooooooooooooooooooooooooo the 2011 Rumble only has thirty not forty entrants this time around annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd I would give the win to Wade Barrett instead.

I would have John Cena somehow become WWE Champion in the time between the Rumble and Mania and then have Barrett beat him for the WWE title. To give Barrett some much needed momentum post-Summerslam 2010 becaise he needed it.
My Thoughts on the Winner At the time I wasn't a big fan of Sheamus, I thought he got pushed a bit too quickly in my opinion.
Years later and I have become a fan of his and as a result of this fact I am keeping his Rumble victory intact.
