Short Version:
They are proposing the implementation of a new law that would basically require ALL passenger cars and trucks manufactured after September 2014 be equipped with a "black box," similar to what's currently installed on airplanes.

These boxes could be capable of tracking things like speed, location, number of passengers, etc.

It's not clear exactly how these "black boxes" would be used, but it's important to note that this isn't something that has to pass through Congress...

The NTSA has full authority to change vehicle requirements on their own, and they're scheduled to make their final decision, later this year.

I have a hard time seeing how blackboxes for cars (who's sole function is to document the car in case of accident or the vehicle being destroyed, otherwise they aren't even on) should herald the coming of "big brother" (who's already in America anyway). Neither do I see how the NTSA, an organisation who's purpose is to be the middle man an mediator in negotiations between auto industry and military industry and help oversee that production of military vehicles meet a yearly quota (as in they deal only in vehicles for the military, not civilian use) would have the power to rewrite national and international vehicle standards for civilian use. This just smells iffy and I wouldn't worry about it since he is most likely just trying to sell you in a pyramid scheme of sorts since they want money to "protect it from the government" aka hiding it in off shore accounts so that one does not have to pay taxes which leads to the economy collapsing even further. When one only takes from the state and don't give a small piece back then the economy grows sick.

Don't worry about it.

NP GTH KKTHXBAI YOLO

All I got out of that was no problem and you only live once.
The only reason I know YOLO is because of twitter. I never use it though. Its just like HAM. Its annoying and takes no logical thinking to make acronyms. Anything outside of quick text statements, such as LOL or T2UL, should not be used by anyone over the age of 18. The reason I say "LOL" and "T2UL" are exceptionable is because you are showing something the thing you read was funny, and you are letting them know you are ending the conversation without having to say bye because for whatever reason, getting a "Bye" in a text seems weird. lol

Paying taxes is vital and hiding money away can and will have negative impact on society and public sector. I don't see the joke.

Paying taxes is a biased system, and there were plenty of governments who did without it in the past. Paying tribute/tax is just a way of contributing unequally. I guess we don't see eye to eye, as taxes are biased and unfairly disproportionate for the lower/middle class.

I agree that taxes (especially in the united states) are set up unevenly. But I still stand by that in a democratic society. Some kind of tax system is required due to the fact that it funds infrastructure and public services. Unless one can find another way to fund things such as healthcare, education (for both older and younger), public transportation and maintaining of roads and similar then I feel the need for taxes to continue being in effect. Because I am of the opinion that one cannot privatize everything. Especially not education, because without public education then private education would be the only option, and private schools have no obligation of teaching children "the basics" and can in essence become cultlike by education students in what the owners wants.

I'll agree to disagree. We come from different nations and situations as well as with different approaches.
