The issue with convos is if you're in an active stage with a lot going on it can be incredibly easy to accidently post in the thread rather than the convo, I almost did it a few times and am shocked it hasn't happened yet :kawhi
its why i have multiple tabs open and ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS looks at the top of the tab befor pressing enter lol . but yes im paranoid about it every game lmao

I WAS TERRIFIED OF THIS BRO :lol

I always open shit in other tabs especially if I"m live discussing some wrestling so I was just waiting until I fucked up lol before I ever played a mafia game, I accidentally posted like 5 posts in a row in the middle of one during like I think an NXT UK TakeOver bc I had both tabs open reading along with the game and chatting the show :heston

Every single time before I posted something… I made sure I wasn’t in the thread :slip:

Although if we're changing to conversations then people should definitely change their profile preferences imo when they play Mafia. I'm not sure if people would try using that, but if you hover you can see somebody is chatting privately. If you're seeing that a lot then you could basically put 2 and 2 together. Like I was nervous myself so I changed it, and Junk basically was 'engaged in conversation' for ages after the traitor announcement. :lol

Yeah, I use to not be hidden, but I hide it every time I play just in case I draw scum. :lmao I might just keep it on tho so no one even knows when I'm here lurking :side: but I also the times I played town never would hover on anyones name, as I'm like that's pretty dirty :lol

Yeah, I get why most hide their settings when they play. I just have bad memories from WF when I'd be online lurking the thread catching up and people would be like "TFW lurking but not posting, he's definitely scum" :lol Although at one point that was like a 100% easy way to catch me, as I lurked as scum big time.

Reading the dead chat makes me realise how lucky I was even more that nobody lynched me right away with my Hacker claim. I'm guessing with it being not as common seen role and some variation from a usual rolecop I got away with it. The Ekko distraction certainly helped too. Yeah, I probably should double check next time when I claim as scum, easily my least favourite aspect of being it.

I contemplated it to the point of looking up Maggie Q's character cause I couldn't remember if she was a hacker too.
