King of the Ring Qualifier

"Made in the USA" Lex Luger (w Davey Boy Smith) vs Tatanka (w Ted Dibiase)
In a final blowoff to their feud, Luger wins in 7 minutes to advance to the tournament during the Free For All segment.

KING OF THE RING PPV

King of the Ring Quarterfinal
:
Razor Ramon (w 1-2-3 Kid) vs Mable (w Mo)

In real life Hall is hurt, so to add more impact to Mable's push and get him on the show we would have the MoM giant surprise Ramon with an avalanche right away. Basically a replay of the SD Jones/Bundy match. Mable wins in 28 seconds to advance, while Ramon is sent to the hospital.

King of the Ring Quarterfinal - With Kiss My Foot Additional Stipulation
Bret "Hitman" Hart vs "The King" Jerry Lawler
This has the original TL stipulation. Hart wins, Lawler regurgitates, and he's taken to the hospital as well.

King of the Ring Quarterfinal

"The King of Harts" Owen Hart (w Jim Cornette) vs "The British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith (with Lex Luger)
Owen is boasting before the match about becoming the first man to with the KoTR two consecutive times. And he hopes to meet his brother again in the process to do it. Todd Pettingill reminds him that this is only the third KoTR PPV, but he's ignored. The match is a back and forth, well executed contest with Davey winning off a bridge in 18 minutes

King of the Ring Quarterfinal
"Made in the USA" Lex Luger (with Davey Boy Smith) vs "The Supreme Fighting Machine" Kama (with Ted Dibiase)
This is a fairly even matchup, although its deliberately slow pace starts to have the fans boo both competitors. Luger wins via countout after hitting Kama with the loaded forearm and sending him toppling through the ropes

WWF Intercontinential Championship Match
"Double J" Jeff Jarrett (c) vs The 1-2-3 Kid
I like the idea suggested above. Roadie runs interference for Jarrett, but Kid is able to overcome the odds and pull the upset. Kid wins his first major singles title and gets the fans back into the event.

King of the Ring Semifinal
Mable (with Mo) vs Bret "Hitman" Hart
Mable tries the same tactic as before - a surprise avalanche. Bret moves out of the way and goes on offense. Basically the strategy is to let the much larger Mable tire himself out, although Hart is eventually caught and pummelled. Mable goes on offense and seemingly has Bret beat. Mo is cheering from the ring apron, until the later moves out of the way and sends Mable careening into Mo. Mo is sent flying....as is Mable as the ring ropes snap!. A battered Hart wins by countout.[/B]

King of the Ring Semifinal
"Made in the USA" Lex Luger vs "The British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith
This is a slow-paced, even matchup with multiple tests of strength and lots of rest holds. The Phily fans turn again and shower them both with boos. Bulldog eventually press-slams Luger out of the ring, but when he jumps out to follow him injures his knee and cannot continue

The Undertaker vs Irwin R. Schyster (w Ted Dibiase)
This match is a squash. In real life Mike Rotundo was slated to become a road agent, and Taker sends him into the next phase of his career in a quick match. Taker regains the urn.

WWF World Tag-Team Championship
"The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels & "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel vs Psycho Sid (w Ted Dibiase) & Yokozuna (w Mr Fuji)
In this timeline I have Owen staying as a singles wrestler for a bit longer, and Dibiase buying the contract of Yokozuna to get him back on track and replace Bam-Bam in the stable. Between WrestleMania and KoTR they've won the world tag-team championship.

This ends up a surprisingly fun match, although the Philly fans are a bit restless. Diesel powerbombs Sid onto a prone Yokozuna to win the match and the tag-team championship. It's been a really bad night for the Million Dollar Corporation

King of the Ring Final - Winner Gets SummerSlam Title Shot

"Made in the USA" Lex Luger vs Bret "Hitman" Hart
Luger is still relatively fresh while Hart is hampered from his previous match with Mable. Luger dominates early but Hart begins to regain control. The referee is accidentally knocked out by a Luger forearm and the Philly fans are really cheering Hart and booing Luger heavily. Luger responds by going heel on the Hitman. Luger hits Bret with a chair, then two forearm shots. Then he uses the torture rack for the first time as the referee revives. Lex is declared the winner as the fans continue to boo. Todd Pettingell cuts a brief in-ring interview with him which gives Luger a few seconds to begin to explain his actions, before he turns and attacks Bret again.

Diesel races down to the ring to save Bret, but is in turn attacked by Bulldog - whose knee is fine. Both Allied Powers have gone heel, and when Shawn tries to intervene the rest of the Million Dollar Corporation (Sid, Yoko, and Kama) rushes out to the ring to attack Diesel, Hart, and Michaels.
