Godwinns

Henry and Phineas Godwinn won the tag titles on May 19th 1996 from The Boddydonnas in New York, NY. They lost the titles to The Smoking Gunns on May 26th 1996 at In Your House: Beware of Dog. They won the titles for a second time on October 5th 1997 at Badd Blood: In Your House from The Headbangers. They lost the titles to The Legion of Doom on the October 5th 1997 Raw.

Austin and Michaels

Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels won the tag titles from The British Bulldog and Owen Hart on the May 25th 1997 Raw. They vacated the titles on the July 14th 1997 Raw due to Shawn Michaels injury.

The Godwinns were never a great tag team, but they did have some decent matches and were involved in some fairly entertaining angles during the 90's, they just edge out Austin/Michaels because of how short their reign was, and because of them making little or no title defences during it.
