R-Truth won the vacant US title on the May 24th 2010 Raw by defeating The Miz. He lost the Title to the Miz on the June 14th 2010 Raw in a Fatal Fourway Match also involving John Morrison and Zack Ryder.

Dusty Rhodes

Dusty won the US title on November 26th 1987 at Starrcade from Lex Luger in a Steel Cage Match. He vacated the title on April 15th 1988 when he attacked promoter Jim Crockett.

Dusty Rhodes easily gets this. I like Truth but his title reign was a nothing reign whereas Dusty was over huge during this reign and did more with it.

Yeah Rhodes easily takes this one, he and the title were a perfect fit.

Dusty for sure, sad I couldn't find a picture of him with the belt though and the cage match with Luger was solid.
