I never likedVal Venis......thought hewas a onenote joke and he had no legs.....outside of his third oneThat definitely didn’t help. He was doomed.
I do know Russo really fought hard for him, Venis and Jarrett.
Venis too was neutered in 2000.

Like Deezy I didn’t care too much for him anyway. In hindsight he’s a piece of shit so it’s ok
Finally we agree on something. Venis was trash. All he did was the generic brawling style, they sent him to Mexico to learn a lucha libre but he bitched about it. His gimmick was just "porn" which only appealed to braindead teens. Very telling that when they branched off that concept he flopped. How did this man find workI never likedVal Venis......thought hewas a onenote joke and he had no legs.....outside of his third one
Ironically enough, despite flopping as hard as he did, he was one of the longest standing attitude era wrestlers still around until he was released in 2009 or whenever it was. Finally we agree on something. One of those guys that hung out too long. He showed up on random Heats well into the PG era. He showed up on TNA, buried some homegrowns, then quit because he thought TNA would interfere with his CMLL dates. He didn't have any CMLL dates (and hates lucha)Ironically enough, despite flopping as hard as he did, he was one of the longest standing attitude era wrestlers still around until he was released in 2009 or whenever it was.
I never heard that CMLL story before but I’m glad he quit over nonexistent dates because he fucking sucked in TNA. He was not the vibe. One of those guys that hung out too long. Then Brock dropped him for sandbagging. My least favorite attitude era guy that stuck around too long was hard-core Holly. I can’t explain it, but I saw nothing in that guy and he was constantly being used and it drove me nuts.
Remember, when they try to convince us, that hard-core was tough and Brock was scared of him, and he stood a chance of beating him at the Royal rumble? Then Brock dropped him for sandbagging.
Brock acting scared was peak comedy.......you know when someones never been scared before.Remember, when they try to convince us, that hard-core was tough and Brock was scared of him, and he stood a chance of beating him at the Royal rumble?
At least, when it was taker with a steel chain confronting him next to the chain-link fences in the back, I could feel like it was justified, but it’s like Brock already dropped this dude on his head.Brock acting scared was peak comedy.......you know when someones never been scared before.
