I had been thinking of doing this for awhile just to see what everyone thought. Obviously these are all original ECW matches so some of you might not be familiar with alot of these. I would recommend any of these matches if u can find them, it might be kind of hard tho.

A few of the backend matches may be interchangeable with others around them but the top few are all pretty cemented in my mind. Alot of different things went into consideration of the list and importance did a play a factor in the ranking of some matches.

I re-watched the Rey/Psicosis match and did decide I put it a few spots too low. I moved it from 33 to 29 and pushed those matches back one.

Thoughts/Opinions would be very much appreciated.

Good list, but I would have put Eddie vs Dean (2 out of 3 falls) in the top three, maybe even at number one. As far as I'm concerned, that's the greatest WRESTLING match in ECW history.

Good job on the list, but Sabu vs. Terry funk in the Barbed Wire match was easily the most extreme thing I've ever seen.

LMAO? The match where Funk was out of for half of it. Sabu was out of it for a big portion? Douglas carried that match for what it was worth. Nothing. Replace 1 with Dreamer/Tazz ECW WHC at Cyber Slam.

Good list, i wish i could remember all those matches. ECW was my favorite back then, but i never really collected their matches/shows. I even had a chance to see ECW live, but did not take it at the time, and assumed they would come back again. Im kicking myself now. (i did see sabu live though on raw vs. 2 cold scorpio)

I think my favorite ECW match was a very early Taz vs Sabu match. I believe it was a tables match, although i am not 100% sure it was ECW back then. I seen that match, and my eyes were open, and since that match i tried to watch ecw as much as possible, but it was tough following it back then. (pre internet days)
