5 Star Matches

Airfix...man JBL's reign is easily the most under rated reign in WWE history. It was brilliant and had alot of good matches, plus the man was the BEST heel in the company during that reign. Not only did he have that sweet ass feud with Eddy, he had fun brawls with Taker and had a helluva good cage match with Show to boot! I'm really sad thinking taht he never got another reign and that his last probable title reign was just to hot-shot the strap to the stale as month old bread Rey. Still, goodness nonetheless.

The Rock/HHH iron man was great. People always talk about Rock/Austin, but Rock had great matches with HHH too. He had that great ladder match @SS 98 that was a great ladder match for guys of that size to have, they had that nice strap match a year later which basically pushed Trips into the main event scene but their Ironman was the crown jewel of their rivalry. I keep it off my list because of the ending too.

I'm not gonna knock anyone's list since wrestling opinion is completely subjective but I will say that HBK/Taker was the ONLY five star match @ WM25. Shame shame on some people...

Also, why is the WM XX Triple Threat not on Peep's list?

The match had it all. 3 great wrestlers pretty much at the top of their game, a wild crowd that was popping for pretty much everything, a great finish with Benoit finally capturing the WHC (Just ignore that he won it in WCW >_>).

I would give that match 5 stars.

Because I didn't feel it was a five star match. Just didn't seem to have as many great spots in the match as others I've seen. You know what I mean? IDK. I currently have it at ****1/2. Still a GREAT match though. Best of the night obviously.

I laugh because the only TNA match that I consider great was Unbreakable 3 Way. That was fantastic. Although the Angle/Joe and Angle/Jarrett matches were also great. Everything else blows balls not counting the ridiculous hardcore matches TNA used to have with Abyss, Sabu, Jeff Hardy, etc.

Then I guess this makes about 90% of the CZW matches *****, since those are usually just spot after spot >_>

By the way, this topic lacks Flair-Funk (I Quit), and about the first four Wargames matches.

Not spots as in Jeff Hardy spots, but spots as in multiple great moments. IDK, like Taker/HBK had. You know what I mean? Like it was a good match, but I would have liked to see Benoit kick out of a Pedigree or something.

Yea Benoit vs. HBK vs. HHH didn't do anything for me. Some people praise that match, but I never really liked it. I don't like Triple Threats at Mania, and since this was the first I hated it all the more. Like you said above, there weren't any memorable spots in the match to recall. It was just a match and everyone remembers the closing scene way more than the match. I never liked Chris Benoit and I didn't think he should have been given that role. The match, along with that entire WrestleMania, is a complete blur. Although I do get a kick out of watching Goldberg vs. Lesnar on DVD, that's hilarious.

But yes, I'm talking about the triple threat at 20. The fact that you called it nothing special, there weren't any memorable spots, saying you didn't care for Benoit, and saying WM 20 is a blur left me rather confused quite badly.
