5 Reasons Why Charlotte SHOULD Win The SmackDown Women's Title

I know...you read the title right...the biggest Charlotte
fanboy on the forum believes she should win another title.

Totally shocking right?

Everyone around here basically knows I worship Charlotte...
and it has nothing to do with who her daddy is.

To me Charlotte is the alpha female of the WWE and while I
admit her promos can sound somewhat robotic at times...I'm
going to blame that on the writers and say that Charlotte is the
perfect female wrestler.

Size, speed & skill with amazing looks and a powerful in-ring
presence...Charlotte has it all and 2016 truly was her year.

So far 2017 has been a rough year for the Queen as all she's
done is lose the RAW women's title, have her pay per view streak
ended, "broke up" with Dana Brooke and spent the last month or
two putting Bayley, Sasha Banks and recently Nia Jax over.

Well...my Bae, my Amazon, my Goddess was recently moved to
SmackDown Live and after defeating Naomi (cleanly) has already
earned a shot at the SmackDown women's title...and because I
love, adore and worship Charlotte...here are 5 Reasons Why
Charlotte SHOULD Win The SmackDown Women's Title.

1). It will Immediately elevate the Title & the Division:
Now I respect the efforts of Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss and Naomi...
but none of them are Charlotte and none of them can elevate the
title and the division like Charlotte can.

The SmackDown Women's title has been underused by the WWE
especially at the "Big 4" pay per views...but with the belt on Charlotte...
the higher ups in the WWE could no longer "ignore" it.

2). Charlotte vs. Becky Lynch:
The Charlotte/Sasha Banks feud was intense and amazing (for the most
part) and it benefitted the entire women's division showing what the
female superstars of the WWE were capable of.

But...but since that feud ended at RoadBlock: End of the Line...the
so-called "Women's Revolution" has stalled. The WWE needs another
top level feud in the women's division to build upon the work done
by Charlotte & Sasha.

I believe Charlotte vs. Becky Lynch is that feud.

For the first time in a long time (may-be ever?) Charlotte is standing
on her own and this will stop any outside interference from (hopefully)
ruining any of their encounters...and Becky...well...Becky has always
deserved better and a feud with her real-life bestie may finally allow
the Irish Lass Kicker to perform at the level her fans know she is capable
of.

While Charlotte vs. Sasha featured a Hell in a Cell pay per view main
event, a fantastic falls count anywhere match & the first main roster
IronWoman match...giving Charlotte & Becky a chance to top that with
a ladder match, an I Quit Match & a casket match may finally get the
"women's revolution" back on track.

3). The Queen vs. The Empress:
I think we all know that Asuka will eventually end up on SmackDown Live...
and when she does...she's going straight for the title. The money match
that most fans want to see is Charlotte vs. Asuka and the best way to
give that match/feud added stakes is for the two ladies to fight over
the title.

Giving Charlotte a lengthy run with the belt (from say now till SummerSlam)
will help the build for this eventual dream match when it becomes a reality.

4). Making History:
The WWE loves it when their performers "make history" and having Charlotte
win the title on SmackDown would make her the first ever women's dual brand
champion.

Now Alexa Bliss has a chance to achieve this same feat at Payback...but
frankly...she doesn't deserve it.

That's right...I said it...Charlotte > Alexa...and while I'm here...
Sasha > Alexa...

5). Anything Less would be a Step Backwards:
For Charlotte...being the champion on SmackDown is really the only rightful
role she can play without her career grinding to a halt. Now I'm all for
the writers developing her character, turning her face or giving her an
interesting story to work with...as long as it advances her as a performer.

But...at this point in time...putting the title on her may-be the only
logical choice.

And there you have it...more Charlotte worship from a Charlotte fanboy.

I know its kind of sickening...but at least I'm being positive and passionate
about wrestling...I mean...that gets me a free pass right?

I agree with everything but Alexa Bliss doesn't deserve to be a dual brand champion.....I think she has been great on SD Live and was carrying the division on her back with minimal help from the other female wrestlers up into late....Naomi is super over now but before it was all Alexa.

Carrying a division is one thing...but in my mind Alexa hasn't earned the right
to be the first dual brand champion. She still lacks experience and wrestling skills
and while I understand the creative team is "high" on her right now (even if Naomi
made her look like a crying little bitch twice in three nights) she doesn't deserve
the honor or the spot in the history books.

Frankly...she doesn't deserve the match against Bayley at Payback either...that is
Sasha's spot. I'm actually concerned that Alexa may-be "over-pushed" and Sasha &
Emma may suffer as a result.

Carmella, Natalya and Tamina will probably interfere in the match which will lead to a non-finish and Naomi retaining. Fine by me.

Plus, not like she desperately needs the title right now. She's already one of the GOAT superstars given her accomplishments.

The Mella, Nattie & Tammy alliance seem strange to me...I mean...we essentially
have three heels (and a tail-less rat) looking to screw over another heel...unless
they are turning Charlotte face...and I'm not sure how I feel about that.

I mean...I'd love to see her & Becky "running" together again...but...Charlotte works
so well as the entitled bitch heel...

I don't really care about either women's division too much but from little I've bothered to watch, Alexa isn't entirely undeserving either. As for being made to look weak with the tapping out, well that's not really up to her, more her booking.

Fair call...but I think the SmackDown writers are smarter than that...

The SmackDown division is smaller than the RAW division at the moment...
but apparently Lana will be wrestling once she debuts on the blue brand
and may-be Summer Rae could be drafted to make it 8 ladies a division.

Fair enough, although her matches before WWE alone kinda sets her apart from the rest of the division imo. On pure talent alone I don't think anyone else in the division can match her. As far as booking and other stuff is concerned, well god knows lol.

And that's the key isn't it...and unless Asuka walks
on to the main roster and wins whichever title on her
first night and then goes undefeated for a year...well...
her booking will seem like a disappointment.

Seriously though...Charlotte vs. Asuka for the SmackDown
Women's title at Wrestlemania 34...make it happen WWE!

I agree with you.

Charlotte is my favorite. I think Charlotte vs Becky will be a much better feud than Charlotte vs Sasha.

Sasha's bank statement tapping out Charlotte numerous times seemed stale and very unrealistic given that Charlotte would DESTROY Sasha in any legitimate athletic competition.

I also agree that Charlotte's character is very versatile and depending who she is up against she really turn up the heel heat. I also think she could pull off a gradual face turn if necessary, and I would really like to see it.

I am also excited about Alexa Bliss being on Raw. Her size limits her in my opinion but she plays a great heel.

I have only recently begun watching Asuka on NXT, but when that day comes Charlotte and Asuka will no doubt entertain.

Charlotte is arguably the best wrestler on the planet. She's certainly in the conversation. This is beyond gender. This is purely who has the entire presentation, the drawing power, etc etc. I could list some proper criteria another time, what I'm saying is that Charlotte has all that shit.

That said, I love Naomi and I wouldn't mind if she got the shine a little longer. She's got a great story. The money is in the face chasing the heel champ though, so it won't be long before the Queen takes what is rightfully hers.
