Misspelling Benoit isn't really the issue here though. The threads are meaningless, and don't contribute to anything like the guys said above. Then when they try to give him constructive criticism he flips out and starts calling them morons.
I don't see anything wrong with this thread at all. 5 reasons why I like something. Not a bad idea for a thread. Dispite what people think, it does not break any rules.

If this was happening on wrestlingforum.com this guy would have been permanently banned along with his IP address weeks ago. Just saying...

Yeah its a poor show at this opera house. I think the finger can be blamed on a number of people for this calamity. Too easy to just say one guy caused the stir. Takes two to tango. Every action has a reaction. Lad posts a thread and gets picked on for little mistakes straight away. Of course he acted badly. Not defending that but he ain't the only one with an eggy face.

Just being logical and unbiased from an outside perspective

For me its writing a thread just for the sake of writing a thread. It doesn't have any depth, and it doesn't inspire conversation, its just spam.
Generally people wouldn't be this hard on him since he is a rookie after all, but he is way to toxic, and that's the biggest problem here.

I don't know, not like there isn't an obvious point to the thread. 2002 was a good year here are 5 reasons. I don't think it's too far to suggest that this could create discussion with people who either agree or disagree.

There is a clear point to the thread and a decent amount of detail and info covered. Just needed to make it more interactive to ignite discussion. Maybe the thread lacks any relevance and context therefore it fails.

Definitely a bad thread but it is not a problem in my book

5. The star power. flair, hbk, booker t, Austin, rock, Beniot, triple h, Jericho, rvd, Edge, nwo, angle, eddie, Dudley’s, Christian, test, and on and on.

4. The match quality. Just to name some great matches, Jericho and rock, hbk and triple h. Triple h and Jericho, Brock and rvd, Brock and undertaker, rock and Brock, Beniot and Kurt, Kurt vs undertaker vs rock, Smackdown 6 matches, rey vs Kurt, eddie vs rvd, eddie vs edge,

3. The feuds. undertaker/Brock. Hbk/triple h. Brock/rock, rock/hulk , edge/Kurt angle,

2. The ppv quality. Every ppv with the exception of no way out was good to great. all of the big 4 ppvs were good to great as well, wrestlemania 18, was a good show, summerslam and survivor series were great. royal rumble was great as well.

1. The returns/debuts Hbk return.
Rey mysterio debut, nwo coming to wwe/F. Lesnar debut, hulk hogan return,

Any wrestling mark can cherry-pick their information and say any era in the WWE is the best of all-time. You're carefully selecting examples of the year 2002, maybe it was that time you were hooked on the WWE. I can just as easily argue that the year 1995 was the greatest era of the WWE of all-time.

1. Because it featured the debut of the controversial Goldust character which got the newsmedia which normally didn't cover wrestling talking about the WWF.

2. WWF's New Generation gave Erik Watts a second chance in wrestling after his disastrous run in WCW by teaming him up with Chad Fortune and forming Tekno Team 2000.

3. 1995 was HBK's breakout year when he main evented Wrestlemania XI against the World Champion Diesel. He defeated Jeff Jarrett at In Your House to win the Intercontinental Championship and he got the monkey off of his back by beating Psycho Sid on Monday Night Raw.

4. 1995 was the year which jump started Justin Credible's career with the Aldo Montoya Portuguese Man of War gimmick.

5. With Hogan and Savage gone for WCW, it gave younger superstars a chance to shine in the spotlight.

6. 1995 also featured the creation of the monthly In Your House pay-per-views. Before 1995, WWF only featured four pay-per views and the customer had to wait three months in between to watch these ppvs.

Very true. I can say the same for 2010. Actually this quite a good idea for a thread. 5 reasons why a year in wrestling was the best.

It wouldn't be a problem for me too, if it wasn't for the attitude.

The quality of the threads popping up here as of late are just one big massive turd, it is like this forum is WCW year 2000. :russo:
