Setting myself up for rape, but no. It's not a movie genre I actually seek to watch, though I should, but I do tend to enjoy most baseball movies I see. If you recommend it I'll go download it now.

See what Senhor said.

It's my favorite baseball movie and focuses on the HR chase on 1961 between Micky Mantle and Roger Maris.

I know you are an IMDB mark, so 7.7

That's right, Crayslow. Roger Maris was a sniper in Saving Private Ryan

Saw the Movie Friday and it was long but absolutely amazing and touching to the heart, a perfect baseball movie in every detail. Harrison ford, christoper meloni and lucas black, along with ryan merriman and of course chadwick bonson, were just marvelous portraying their characters, such an awesome movie, 5 stars.

4/10? Call me crazy but I liked it a lot! 7-8/10

It's not just a Jackie Robinson story. It's more about everything that went into place for him to get into the league. Much more than a 1 man story. Really good film.

It has two crowds that will like it. Baseball fans and anyone interested in the civil rights movement in American History.
