I don't think Orton will win the World Title at Extreme Rules, but I do see him going to SD tomorrow night, and have the Swagger-Orton feud go on for a while longer.

oddly enough, i think i'm most interested in HHH vs. Sheamus tonight...it seems like its make or break for sheamus. If he loses, which i don't think will happen, it could slip into midcard status. If he wins, he'll likely stay in the main event scene for years to come. With Batista rumored to be leaving after tonight. I would be suprised if HHH didn't do the job for Sheamus.

Orton vs. Swagger also peaks my interest. This will be a good idea of what Swagger can do in a main event spot, imo. Both i hope are a big part of the company in the future, and they need to have good chemistry.

I think the show stealer maybe CENA VS BATISTA or Orton Vs swagger, im expecting more of a wrestling match than weapons with them to.

It's hard to believe that there is a PPV in like 5 hours, I have not been excited atall for this PPV, I hope that it will be better than I expect but....

CM Punk wins. The Cult Leader remains and hopefully is heading to Raw to main event. Besides Sheamus and Batista, since Batista is leaving, they need another top heel, and that is where Punk comes in.

Fuck yes @ return of Mercury.

Agreed on Shad/JTG not being bad at all. MUCH better than the shitty tag matches, tbh.

Still raging at the ruining of a GREAT match, by far Jericho/Edge's greatest match vs. each other x1000 (was prob MotN, might still be), with that terrible ending. There was a PERFECT opportunity for a spear off the top of the cage, after he smashes Jericho's face into the top bar. Too bad WWE is watered down shit now and they won't do it. That or Edge is sadly too crippled to do it now.

Oh, and BATISTA IS THE SHIT. The highlight of the entire show:

Little girl: I HATE YOU BATISTA!
Batista: I HATE YOU TOO!

Awesome ending, imo. Match was a spotfest, but that's what it SHOULD be on a fucking EXTREME RULES LMS PPV. Again, WWE truly saved the gimmick for the last match on the card, basically (Sheamus/HHH had what, one weapon?).

What do you guys think about the way Cena won? I think, if this is it for Batista, it's a "thank you" from everyone for how hard he's worked as opposed to just a straight loss.

I thought it was the most pathetic excuse for a finish i've ever seen in any LMS match. What a joke. But Kaedon, you actually make a good point that makes me hate it less. If WWE is impressed with Batista, there's no reason to job him out completely, but that makes me question why it's a LMS match in the first place! So yeah, definitely not my favorite match finish ever, and it's even doubly mind boggling if the plan is that to be Batista's last match for awhile, as that's hardly an "extreme" finish.

I didn't bother watching the match, but it sounds like a heelish way to win. Did it come off that way?

When Rey was alley-ooped from the Apron, we suspect that that was Mercury.
