Billy Kidman Speaks On Divorcing Torrie

source: AudioWrestling.com

Former WWE and WCW star Billy Kidman was a live in-studio guest on Carnage Bloodsport Banter (on Sunday night 2/25) which airs live every Sunday night at 11PM ET on AudioWrestling.com, Showdown.net, LVRocks.com and CarnageTalk.com. Below is a brief recap of the interview:

Kidman was in town (Las Vegas) for an indy event and starts the interview by talking about having fun spending time in Vegas.

He is going through a rough time now with his divorce from Torrie Wilson. Kidman went into more details of his current relationship with Torrie saying they still talk and that Torrie's travel was one of the problems that led to the split. While a divorce is in the works it has not yet been finalized.

Kidman announced he will be working for 3 weeks in Japan coming up in April.

Kidman said one of his biggest moments in wrestling was when Bret Hart came up to him after a match in WCW vs. Eddie Guerrero and said that Kidman was a credit to the business.

Kidman still marks out during some of Hogan's entrances although he said once he was in the ring with Hogan it didn't feel different from working against a typical opponent.

Kidman announced he is now working on some shows under a mask in a gimmick that is similar to Hayabusa with his hair extending though a hole at the top of the mask.

In WCW, Kidman got to work more matches than he was supposed to on WCW TV because Kidman claimed Raven, on nights he wasn't in the mood to wrestle, would talk the writers into giving Kidman his in-ring slot. This was back during the Raven's Flock era in WCW.

After Kidman was released from WWE, he claims he was not in the mood to work many indy dates so he purposely overpriced himself to promoters. Kidman now wants the work so his price has come back down to a fair price.

Kidman said he has been backstage at TNA to say hi to some friends. While Kidman has not talked business with anyone from TNA yet, he said he would like to work there because they have a great schedule.

Before the interview was over, Kidman was asked to share his favorite road story. Although we cannot go into detail in this news post, you can hear for yourself how Kidman talked about sleeping with two married women (at the same time) that he met during the intermission of a wrestling show.

This show is now archived on AudioWrestling.com and CarnageTalk.com.

Billy Kidman was always a good wrestler, I just think it was the gimmick change that kinda ruined him.

worst mistake he's ever doing.........divorcing Torrie. What an idiot..... but anyway id like to see Kidman in TNA, but the only problem is, I think he would take away from some of the younger talent. TNA should focus on pushing the younger talent in stead of bring older guys imo.

for the ME scene, they need more youngsters, but in the x-division, they need some experienced people to lead the youngsters

It would be accurate to say that the 3DS is sold out throughout Japan. However, this is one system that won't be totally impossible to find for long. Following the system's launch Saturday morning, we found one retailer that was expecting a new shipment as early as Sunday!

The system did sell out quickly upon release, however. Most shops were pre-order only, but the ones that did have same day units drew lines of up to 1,000. Stock depleted quickly, and in most cases if you hadn't lined up by 9:00, you were out of luck.

The line outside Yodobashi Camera in Akihabara started forming around 10:00 the night before.

Japanese lines tend to be very well behaved and organized. At Yodobashi Camera in Akihabara, a clerk walks the line collecting garbage.

Nintendo has officially said that it will have 1.5 million systems shipped to Japanese shops by the end of this fiscal term (March 31). Nikkei has confirmed an initial shipment of just above 400,000 units, a figure that's in line with initial shipments for the Wii and original DS.

Launch titles included Nintendogs + cats (available in three versions), Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask, Combat of Giants Dinosaur 3D, Ridge Racer 3D, Samurai Warriors Chronicle, Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition, Winning Eleven 3D and Puzzle Bobble 3D. One major shop in Tokyo told Japanese gaming site Famitsu.com that Ridge Racer, Winning Eleven, Street Fighter and Layton were particularly popular.

Retailers throughout Tokyo have been adding a big 3DS presence to their game areas in the build up to the system's launch. In most cases, displays consist of demo kiosks allowing users to sample the system's launch titles.

The Yodobashi Camera in Shinjuku, which has been known to draw lines of up to 5,000 for some launches, was pre-order only this time, so the launch was pretty quiet.

One retailer, the large Tsutaya outlet in Tokyo's Shibuya ward (it's on top of the Starbucks at that famous intersection) had a more official demo event on launch day, with Nintendo companion girls standing outside the shop and inviting passersby to sample the system's 3D output on 3DS systems that were attached to them (this brought back memories of the system's E3 debut). This Tsutaya had somewhat of a surprise: the shop would be getting a new shipment of systems on Sunday morning!

Other shops list new shipment time frames as TBA.

IGN picked up our very own units, of course. Here's a look at what's inside the box, and at some of the launch titles packaging.

Inside the box, you have the system, the AC adapter, a charging cradle, six AR Cards, a single touch pen and a 2 gigabyte SD card. The SD Card and touch pen are already positioned in the system.

You can get an early look at the system's manuals in PDF form at Nintendo's support page.

Classy packaging for the system.

The various manuals. The AR Cards are in the little yellow envelope.

The AR Cards, used in AR Games and such titles as Nintendogs.

Game packaging looks a bit like DS packaging, but with the system logo on the right ride. Upon closer inspection, though, the 3DS packaging is actually thinner. The cases are also lined with holes which only Nintendogs put to good use.

Four launch titles.

The holes are blank in the other games.

Was a given that it would sell out quickly, seem like Nintendo has there shit together though and there already shipping more units.

Fuck that I couldn't wait in that long ass line, lol. Not surprised though as it's like that with any of these tech things that are new let alone in Japan where they actually make it.
